They are an elite anti-infantry squad. Obersoldaten can fire on the move with their LMG and so can Paratroopers and Commandos.

Can wermacht get elite unit to shoot mg42 on the move?

Not sure if intended but the Rocket strafe for soviets do like 0 dmg on buildings? Pretty bad damage in general, couldnt finish a 10%hp idle pz iv with it

That's because Guards are elite generalists, not elite AI infantry.

(that's because normal guards are not AI specialists, they are generalist squad with AI and AT capabilities)

Yup. Heavy infantry. Good against everything but burdened with needing to be stationary. Absolutely reasonable. As funny as it would be to see the lmgs and ptrs firing on the move....

We set the damage to buildings to low on purpose so they don't instantly kill garrisons for a handful of munitions. Might be too low. We'll look into it, thanks for the report.

As for the damage versus vehicles, it all depends on good aim and a bit of good RNG on the rocket scatter. Try to aim behind the target so more rockets will hit the vehicle (rockets that fly "over/behind" the vehicle will usually connect with the vehicle). It can deal quite devastating damage if a lot of rockets connect.

Gotta say a bit dissapointed in the amount of new stuff for axis, I mean tiger as OKW is nice and finally axis can break cover but that is about it. I mean could have given lmg to inflitration squads to wehr.

Well they have an airplane call-in too. Part of me feels like they should have went with Naval Infantry instead, with the Shock Troop voice.


No, either from the building or on foot like the rest of the call infantry.

t was said a long time ago, just let the PTAB be a great solution. Rocket Streif - long flight time, questionable damage against tanks, minimal damage against buildings - and this is direct rocket sound.

TBH I hope once it becomes obvious how retarded it is both pgrens and pfusiliers get JLI treatment, played several games - literally every single one of them were schreckblob hordes running around.

Couldnt even test LMG paratroopers, had to use all of them as PPSh squad buffer to stop it.

sorry how does pfus and pgren beat ur inf ? if they payd 100 mun for their upgrade u should have some LMG or BAR

Last time I checked AT guns cant sprint, throw nades and retreat and get easily flanked.
