Jagdtiger requiring active OKW T4

Why is this? Once the T4 is destroyed you have to build it again to call in the Jagdtiger.

I think this is massively unfair considering the KT doesn't need this either and for good reason. The unit isn't build in T4 and the 135 fuel you invested in T4 should be enough to be allowed to call it in regardless if it is destroyed or not.

I mean this is the least you could do for this unit considering how utterly terrible it still is. It gets frontally penned by the same Allied TDs it's meant to counter and considering the slow movement speed in combat you feel like the JT is often more the hunted instead of the hunter.

Not even mentioning the fact that it gets deleted by both ISU doctrines even though it's meant to counter ISU.

I said it before and I will say it again the JT rework that was done in one of the last big balance patches is garbage. The unit hasn't improved at all in 2v2.

It's no surprise it doesn't see much use because every time I see it used or use it myself it's just not cutting it.

And while we are at it, 7 man Cons+Shocks+ ISU/IS2 + Katjusha + SU 85 is braindead OP, nerf the fucking Soviet late-game it's the most unbalanced shitfest in COH2 right now. As Axis you literally ALWAYS have to go Tiger to even stand a chance at this point. Ele + spotting scopes is a legit alternative for Ost but OKW has literally one useable doctrine at the moment if you don't want to get utterly stomped by Soviets and USF in late game.

Elephant master race in teamgames.

In 1v1 agree, especially with recon T70 it’s so easy to reposition on the fly and counter any attack.

Yea I agree with blvck here. The most frustrating part of this problem is in the 4 v 4 world where you T4 is almost always destroyed due to arty fest.

Maybe is Flak HQ is placed adjacent to base sector, it should have the ability to brace so off map or on map arty doesn't just wipe it out.

Agree,,all factions have different tech tree,different factions heavy tank need same request and same cost is unfair

StuG the major squad has not much to do with tanks other than that it is given free when you tech for the T3 building

Hannibal u missed my point, immagine if calling in tank would require the major alive and it would cost 120 fuel to rebuild , should u be punished for using the major as intended and support the front line or should u keep.it in base only

Now swap the word major for flak gun

Can you lose a flak truck to a stray mortar or single tank shell? You can lose a major in a blink to bad RNG but can only lose a flak base if YOU fuck up and take your time doing so.
Risk/reward. If you don't want the risk of losing it you can't expect the reward of having a 360° suppressing cannon that will also mince anything below a medium tank. If you can't defend it you don't deserve the benifit of it. It's a tech building. Treat it as such or suffer.
