Infantry speed: 3 Churchill speed: 4 Panther speed: 6,6, over 8 with blitz. ullumulu speed: pretty damn slow. The only vehicles in game which are slower are ele and JT. In: COH2 Balance

You REALLY need to learn how mechanics like -range -acceleration -sight range work if you do not want to make a laughing stock out of yourself anymore. Churchill chased down nothing on that vid, it flanked and closed in enough distance to pull off one more shot, would the panther be at max range, it would never had slimmest shadow of a chance to do that, but I refuse to believe you're that ignorant and stupid to not see that yourself, so I'll simply assume you're trolling bad. Oh, you also need to learn what "chasing" actually means. Hell, go and ask vipper, he is amazing guy when it comes to explaining meanings of words! In: COH2 Balance

Its as effective vs P4 as KV-1, which is not most effective and cen be circle strafed by P4 due to extremely low speed. Panther is designed to counter high armor targets, not high HP one. Pair of StuGs rip it a new a-hole from any direction and get incredible amount of vet off of it and its cheaper to get 2 stugs then it is to get 1 churchill due to upgrade cost, so you have most effective and efficient counter long before first churchill can arrive on field. If it couldn't solo P4, it would be most underpowered unit in game, its bad enough that it can not finish it off due to zero chasing potential. If it killed your panther, you need to lower AI difficulty and try again. If you failed with StuGs against it, there is no hope at all for you. In: COH2 Balance

If the difference between life and death for units are one shot, excessive RNG is bad design. There is ALREADY RNG in penetration. So more RNG like whether you hit the ground is excessive. Nobody in CoH2 views the game as a 3D game. If we were, we'd be playing using camera angles close to the ground. You're talking to a top 200 Ostheer player. I know way more than you do and I don't even play Starcraft or the other games u mentioned. You for real? What do you believe true sight and wall cover do in the game? Plus, you are confusing point of view with 3d. Do you even know what 3d means? Hint: its not term exclusive to FPS games. Nobody in CoH2 views the game as a 3D game. Because they do not use same methods nor damage the map in permanent way. There are 2 ways to do replays, what coh does with list of commands being executed in an order(and RNG outcomes playing as they did), or pretty much a 'video' kind of thing akin to SC2 replays. Thing with heavies is, they are jacks of all trades, excelling at everything, which means they require very hard counters against them. KV-1, KV-2 or churchill variants are examples of well balanced heavy tanks, damage sponges, but they are not going to carry you through the game. Even Pershing is in good shape in comparison as it got a very clear weakness of being squishy and expensive. Tiger, KT and IS-2 do not have any weakness outside of infantry scatter and TD vulnerability. Generalist heavies should not exist without any exploitable drawbacks and the most popular ones simply do not have them. In: COH2 Gameplay
