You basically need a gren escort for the entire duration of that time with the 222. 90 secs in a game is not much, but the window of effectiveness for a light vehicle is quite small especially against Brits which can get out their mediums faster than all other factions (10-11min centaur). Hence 90 secs is a decent amount of time eaten away from the window of effectiveness of a light vehicle when the fastest u can get 222 is around 5min. And when you play conservatively with 222 it means that your engaging and disengaging very soon to avoid the AEC meaning, you don't get much damage off on inf. You certainly cannot send the 222 alone to chase away a capping squad on the far side of the map because then the AEC can really dive for it. And after that(which again is NOT hard to do) you have uncontested reign of superiority over brit. In: COH2 Balance

So it kinda makes sense that the 444 should be good as it requires more resources. Its not really just comparison as ost teching unlocks more then UKF one, hence higher cost. It also means you'll have only about 90 seconds to counter 222 from the very second you get aec and this early in game time runs fast, its not really hard to play conservatively with one 222 until second arrives, its not like AEC can just dive for it. You don't even give me a chance by completely discrediting your own point of view instantly by yourself. wehraboo stronk in this one Its not anti tank gun clearing unit. Do not use it as such and do not expect it to do such. The unit is perfectly fine and cost effective post the buffs it got. However bad artisan will blame even the best tools. In: COH2 Balance

Major is purely support unit, its 3 man squad and is wiped by a lucky mortar shell. Its usable. But if SO was to ever lose the aura and mass retreat disadvantage, it should not be any more durable, no reason for it. Thread: Sturmofficer is boring to use...1 Aug 2018, 17:53 PM Jump back to quoted post1 Aug 2018, 17:41 PMKanjejou Very interesting but since its an elite unit maybe make it a bit durable after vet1... because if it have a classic infantery stats+low body count its going to drop dead everytime and be useless... if the squad is so small give it stg44 obersoldaten...makign it able to super at ecery range like a true elite unit(you only get one). but i would prefer a 4-5 man squad with basic kar98/mp40/one mg the assault sector skill...im not a big fan of it, it giev it back its weakness and promote massiv blobing again... Its a support unit and should remain a support unit. If you want to have obersoldaten on crack, just get obersoldaten, given them IR STGs and get them to vet2. In: COH2 Balance

In team games there's usually plenty of Shocks because there's more CQC maps in which they're pretty good. In team games there is more shocks around, because there is more players who do not know any better. 1v1 and 2v2, you'll never see a shock squad from players who could get guards and/or ppsh cons, because shocks provide absolutely nothing that 1-2 squads of ppsh cons wouldn't. And aren't team games... much more open? In: COH2 Balance

It would hit the field at the same time as Luchs while countering it effectively. I'd prefer to reduce the MP cost of the m20 so that it hits the field earlier, and has more of an effective window. Something like 260mp would be a lot more manageable. Swapping AAHT and AT Gun would make sense though. That would give the Captain a Light Vehicle specialty and LT the support weapon specialty. Greyhound is impotent vs vehicles. Only Kubel and 251 does not give it a hard time. In: COH2 Balance
