For example, putting the Command Panther behind tech would destroy OKW's only competitive strat in high level team games. It can't be pulled away without giving something back in return. New one works exactly like land matress, except its only half of the rockets and needs to get much closer. In fact, its AoE is also lower then LM, 4 for calli, 6 for LM. A encyclopedia/library could get stat from units from the files automatically. I would prefer the in game description to be more accurate but I doubt it will change. It increases localization cost and workload greatly. Instead of a couple universal localization keys, now you need custom ones for almost every single unit and that adds up. Then, as you've said, patch changes and instead of value change on the unit, now localization keys need also to be changed, proof read and QA checked. Now, I personally would prefer either CoH1 PE-like vet or DoW2 raw % increase to offensive and defensive stats. In: COH2 Gameplay

Tank traps is one of the most irrelevant abilities in game. I have never seen them used outside of sandbag replacement for USF. You want to nerf a doctrine hard, you remove 1 ability from it by giving it that. In: COH2 Balance
