Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

I have one problem with the new storms, the tactical advance ability seems really odd combined with SMGs, reducing them to walking speed on a unit with such short range feels odd. It felt right with the assault rifles. That ability IS designed from the beginning for SMGs. Thompson paras have it since forever and it worked well on them and contrary to storms, paras can't just sneak up on you. Also, the SMGs storms use are not that low range. In: COH2 Gameplay |

So use the doctrine then. That's why doctrines exist. You're not getting that as stock ability. Ost is bad late game. Allied late game is bad with only 640hp vehicles(brits excluded). Ost T4 armor have much better survivability, means more vet levels, means more reliability because 960 and 800 is much better then 640. You can't have the cake and eat it too. In: COH2 Gameplay |

I keep seeing this "100mp" stuff and it is simply false based on all other factions. UKF have different starting MP than soviets etc. there is no magical value that all factions have. Go through the patch notes. You'll see OKW got 100 bonus, ost got 80 bonus and UKF got 60 bonus. Subtract these values from their starting mp and add starting units value, you'll end up with same value as soviets and USF. Tho, remember that Spios used to cost 320 as well. RETs also used to cost 160 if I'm not mistaken. Can't remember if other units cost changed or not.
It was also the same patch that increased volks cost, which meant OKW couldn't start building 1st volk instantly. For the same reason UKF got their 60 extra. Ost is just living off of welfare. In: COH2 Balance |

If it is not 5 man, not armour, not explosive damage reduction. What should it be then? Not rushing them frontally against tanks. All infantry bleeds heavily and gets wiped in end game, grens are hardly an exception here. Go play with new infantry doctrine that gives them 5th men, go see how they perform in late game.
