But its extremely rarely used at 300+ if ever. 2) I explain the difference: LeFH can be counter by off map especially when spammed Sexton can not. Officer moving close enough to call barrage is difficult Valentine depend on the MOD but in many cases it allot easier especially since it has: Extra sight range to detect danger Can take a snare without engine damage Small target size Broken speed Or you could use mines, like every other decent player to protect his sides/approaches/own howis. and can also be upgraded with war speed. Victor target on Valentine is simply a bad idea and it going to be a allot easier to replace than to balance. How is it so much worse, then - you know, just barraging the place? You aren't going to barrage bases with it, forward OKW trucks are - you know - forward, so no need to deep dive anything as well. Outside of that extra range, what's so OP about it that you can't do with regular use of arty? In: Lobby

Then give StuG G the option as stationary AT-option (as MaderIII in CoH1) with 62,5 range (as hull-down, the 2,5 range extra is needed so it can shoot back). Then Jackson gets worse acc. and maybe dps so Panzer 4 performs better. etc. etc. CoH2 needs more non-doc options, that is one mainproblem, the Commander-System is bad. We can then also nerf panther rate of fire and accuracy and buff its penetration, so it isn't counter-it-all tanks as well, but a heavy tank/high armor counter, StuG and JP4 will see more use, everyone will be happy! Let me get this straight, despite people saying they suck you think adding an stg would make them OP compared other infantry of same cost(280 mp + 0cp) getting 2 Elite Thompsons. Just just.. amazing. OST must clearly be OP in your mind then. People say every single unit sucks, without exception. People also say every single unit is op, without exception. "People's" opinion doesn't hold much value. Stats however do. And stats say AGs perform and scale just as well as any other unit sharing that early CQC role. Hell, you yourself are dictionary example of both my opening lines here, completely ignoring what 6th man brings for AGs, while praising assault tommies much more then you should, forgetting they get just more firepower, not durability, contrary to AGs. 6-men AGs also throw 6 nades in an assault. Both axis factions have stock units to hardcounter them from safe distance. Both axis factions have early game doctrinal option to ROFLSTOMP them. Its only OP if you refuse to counter it. Edit: Many people and mod-teams tried to fix the emplacement situation, it isn't possible like you see. One option was to rempace it, give brits normal mortars with range deficit and give them the option for range-buff if garrisoned in the trench-emplacemnt brits can build non-doc. Would be an easy way, relic and patch-team decided for something else. Emplacements are unpleasent to play against, but to say they are overpowered is plain bullshit at this point. In: COH2 Gameplay

Because current base cost, upgrade cost and upgrade performance are balanced against other units already. If the unit lacks anything, its the skill from the player using them. They are not shock troops. They never were shock troops. They will not become shock troops. In: COH2 Gameplay
