Why not give the Stormtroopers a little bit of armor so it is more appealing to go into CQC (as made evident by shocks). Personally I like mixing my squads with long and shortrange capabilities
They already have 0.75 rec acc modifier.
If you want to give them armor, you'd have to strip that first.
Moreover, there basically was a single unit in ww2 that actually used body armor, which are soviet assault engineers aka shock troops. |

Stuart is leagues better than the werfer- not impressive, but it does its job, if only marginally.
I'd say both barely do their job just enough to not be complete POS but thats it.

Well I surely wouldn't consider the is2 slow. Speaking from personal experience. The is2 has such good survivability partly due to its speed. Its the most maneuverable heavy tank in game. Tigers and king tigers may have blitz. But having passively higher speed and having the same or more armor is more effective than a short term speed boost.
While I'm not trying to imply that is2s need nerfs or germans need buffs. I'm merely saying speed definitely is an advantage for the is2. Quit trying to downplay it.

Its faster, but not fast enough to guarantee that speed will save it or help it chase down anything.

there are plenty of shit commanders for both OKH and USSR. even USF and OKW have bad commanders.
But USF, OKW and ost doesn't get punished by losing the game without a chance to stand up by picking them.
Being able to know everything your enemy produces, heavy tanks, conscript super rifles and conscript repair sounds fair to you? With that much utility You'd have literally no reason not to just go con spam into is2. They should call it Conscriptoviky call-insk Tankoviky spamka or bullshit in english.

It does do deflection damage, and yes the Tiger is better AI. Although I would say versus USF mostly since the IS2 is normally shooting at 4 men squads while the Tiger is shooting at 5 and 6 men squads.
The big weakness as you point out of the heavy's is they have low DPS, but the IS-2's 375 frontal armor and high speed means it can get in and out of sticky situations faster than a Tiger or KT can.
It doesn't for well over a year.

Blitzing Tiger and KT are still faster then it and IS-2 having no defensive abilities that Tiger can have means it have MORE PROBLEMS getting out of bad situations then Tiger. |

NO RESOURCE INFLATION as all players need to invest just as much in 3v3 as in 1v1 per player.

Sure, I agree that some unts shouldn't be there(osttruppen, WC, RETs), some are missing, but if someones anus is bleeding over loosing their IWIN button and attempts to troll hardcore, its hard to pass.
