Thread: CoH2 2v2 Map-Making Contest29 Jul 2017, 15:43 PM Kyle said using different building tilesets is okay if it doesn't affect performance and looks natural. Jump back to quoted post29 Jul 2017, 15:21 PMZombiFrancis You can't use more than one 'water source' as well. . I don't think 2-3 water sources should be an issue. There have been several community maps in the past with more than 1, which also were added to automatch. In: News
Thread: CoH2 2v2 Map-Making Contest14 Jul 2017, 08:37 AM Jump back to quoted post13 Jul 2017, 19:56 PMTric "Hidden" LUL. This has been the standard RULE since Vcoh. So you are talking almost a decade and it was the same in the last contest as well. You are obviously not aware that there are perhaps mapmakers, who are participating for the first time? rolleyes Jump back to quoted post13 Jul 2017, 19:56 PMTric Yah, should I also say don't submit old maps that have been on the workshop already? Cause that's also a thing. THIS IS CLEARLY WRITTEN IN THE RULES. Now another question. A map like Lienne Forest, which uses urban Buildings and is covered 1/4 by an urban area but 3/4 is rural/forest. Is it considered urban or rural? In: News
Thread: CoH2 2v2 Map-Making Contest13 Jul 2017, 18:06 PM It's still not clear in the rules. Like "You are only allowed to use buildings of one of these categories (Ardennes urban, Ardennes rural, Normandy industrial... etc). Are there more hidden rules one needs to know? In: News
Thread: CoH2 2v2 Map-Making Contest12 Jul 2017, 21:57 PM Jump back to quoted post12 Jul 2017, 19:30 PMTric No, because if you use multiple building categories it causes issues with the game loading time taking longer. You either get rural, urban, or industrial. Wait. One is not allowed to use Buildings of different categories? This sounds very limiting / Is not clear in the rules & and doesn't seem to be a relevant problem, given the fact that official relic maps do that. In: News
Thread: CoH2 2v2 Map-Making Contest12 Jul 2017, 14:16 PM Each map maker is eligible to submit 1 map for each visual category (Urban, Rural, and Industrial) Can one submit a single map for two categories if it contains elements of both? In: News
Thread: Maxim.4 Jun 2017, 14:45 PM Maxim is utter trash. The suppression/Defensive capability is a joke. And thanks to the longer setup time it's not useful as a offensive support weapon anymore. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Churchill Crocodile needs adjustment20 May 2017, 11:06 AM Jump back to quoted post18 May 2017, 21:07 PMDangerous-Cloth Add to that 6 pounder support and the fact that the croc can fire at the Panther and kill all support weapons at the same time is a recipe for abuse. But hey, that is just my opinion. Wehrmacht vet 1 pak stun? In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Churchill Crocodile needs adjustment18 May 2017, 17:06 PM Jump back to quoted post14 May 2017, 15:13 PMMatson Crocodile can take down panter if both have engine damage on close range. The Croc needs 10 penetrating hits to kill a panther with a 30-40% of penetrating the front armor. The Panther needs 9 penetrating hits with a 85-100% chance of penetrating the front armor. It's not impossible but very very unlikely for the croc to win that kind of engagement. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Churchill Crocodile needs adjustment14 May 2017, 07:59 AM The Croc is an anti infantry tank for the price of a heavy tank. It better be damn good at its job. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Ostheer Grenadiers23 Aug 2016, 08:50 AM Jump back to quoted post19 Aug 2016, 01:54 AMsuuuhdude I second this. Allow grenadiers to be able to upgrade both if they are going to continue being the weakest mainline inf in the game Grenadiers are not meant to carry Ostheer on their own, they are supposed to be part of a combined arms strategy.
