Commentary is best left for replays, imo. Attempting it during live gameplay detracts from either the gameplay or the commentary, usually.

I think people are confusing 'flanking' with 'approaching out of LOS/LOF.'

The way to deal with Brace in team games (which is what was being described as particularly cancerous) is to have an OKW player dedicate themselves to liegs.

If a Brit is dedicating themselves to emplacements, an OKW has to spam liegs in response. Bofors and mortar pits alike have the indirect fire and range to counter mortar teams. Ostheer mortar halftrack, while useful is not cost efficient in the slightest, and cripples the Ostheer player through doctrine choice. It's biggest utility is actually being able to reposition once the counter barrages from the bofors and mortar pit begin.

You can't split your forces against british emplacements either. You have to concentrate your entire army on dealing with the emplacements. Yes, on most multiplayer maps this is impossible, or playing right into the allied teams hands, but that's unfortunately the reality of it.

Emplacements in general don't work for everyone the way CoH2 maps are designed, especially 2v2+. They dictate and constrain gameplay for every player which can have strong strategic implications.

I would say there needs to be a 15-25 muni non-snaring panzerfaust variant that hits like a panzerschreck, unlocked when one truck is down.

When two trucks are down, a 180 muni 2 panzerschreck upgrade for volks.

Investing munitions in early fausts would delay reliable and cost efficient schrecks. It's easy for light vehicles to be overwhelmed by multiple schrecks, but they still have a chance against fausts.

If an allied player doesn't press OKW to use fausts enough with their light vehicles early on, they suffer the wrath of a dedicated AT squad.

Currently, being able to spread schrecks out across multiple 5 man squads keeps schrecks in relative safety. Five man squads are much harder to wipe than 4 man squads, and purchasing schrecks at 90 muni intervals allows for steady production of handheld AT while still maintaining AI strength. It's also harder to drop schrecks on the field, as the likelihood that the model holding a schreck dies is less compared to squads holding two.

Except for Snipers and Stugs, anything Ostheer can do OKW can do better (or at least as well.)

Panzergrens ARE, in fact, powerful units, but only at vet 2, in cover, and against charging unvetted infantry. An injured vet2 pgren squad can wipe two conscript squads, one after the other.

But one nade, or otherwise forcing those pgrens to move out of cover is their death sentence.
