I think it’s better to replace the trap ability with another one: undermining points - partisans destroy any resource point and it becomes neutral and can't capture it until it is repaired.
Yeah I don't see that at all being super annoying when infiltrating onto cut offs.
The Universal Carrier has overall better stationary accuracy and accuracy on the move altogether, meaning higher DPS.
The Universal Carrier can not capture territory. Therefor people will never build more than one and that is why it can have better combat characteristics. If you make the Kubelwagen any better however, you risk that people will spam them instead of infantry.
The improved Kubelwagen is already nice in the current live version, and the only thing I found holding me back from using them every game that I generally need to sacrifice too much vital early game Sturmpioneer time repairing them. The manpower bleed inflicted by Kubels does not outweigh the down time on Sturmpioneers imo. That should be solved in the upcoming patch however.
Second, and i think a necessary change would be to make the ostheer puma in mobile def a call in again now that the command p4 is tied to tech.
I mean, that's certainly possible, but what would stop Ostheer from going right back into the Puma meta and call them in every single match? I personally agree that it was the techless AI tank follow up that was a bigger problem than the Puma, but reverting the Puma changes now would still risk seeing MobiDef almost every game again because it was simply Ostheer's most effective way of dealing with Allied lights. And seeing the same doctrine over and over wasn't fun at all. The Puma was Ostheer's Command Panther and everyone was sick of it too back then.
I repeat to everyone. This is an elite infantry, on the 5th vet they get from 0.8 to 0.47 Tagget size. The allies have no elite infantry with a target size of 0.5. And even 0.6.
We're talking about Ostheer's Jaeger Command Squad, not OKW's Jaeger Light Infantry squads. Furthermore, the Allied elite infantry generally have bigger target sizes because they have more models. Also also, Rangers have 0.52 target size with veterancy.
If you want a Jagers for 2 cp, then adjust the cost with its performance and target size. This is not just grenadiers with g43. You of course are very gynius with such requests.
Funny you should say that, because Jaeger Light Infantry are not at 3CP, not at 2CP, but at 1CP since the December Commander Revamp patch. And they are fine there since the tweaks.
No, they are too strong for 2 cp. Look at their high DPS and low target size. This is an elite infantry.
Did you ever happen to hear about Shocktroopers? Or Guards?
Their target size is 0.91 (0.7 with vet) and they don't even get Panzergrenadier G43s but just the worse Grenadier G43s. The only difference with Grenadiers is one extra model and one extra G43 (and some abilities obviously). Sure, we could call that elite, but that is not Paratroopers/Rangers elite.
it wins vs panther when sitting like a duck in the sand...and have 40% life after killing it
What exactly is this based on? The one incredibly wonky test result in Tightrope's video in which a Panther didn't use its range advantage and the KV-1 got ridiculously lucky penetration RNG?
I found the tanks tested in the UKF/OKW video by tightrope very lack luster. It shouldn't take a stationary tank 50 seconds to kill a single squad, panzer 4s and HE shermans are currently all better than the Tiger/KT/comet in the AI department at max range for some reason. And don't say "armor", armor is completley RNG dependant and honestly is probably the primary issue with tank balance.
I found heavy tanks, and the KT in particular, a lot more reliable on average than they were before in more realistic scenarios, i.e. against clumped and damaged squads, with all MGs firing, and with other units firing too.
That said, the new AOEs are just a first iteration and we can tinker with them still.
Here's a test vs active bots that I did, judge for yourself. Don't mind the speedhacks.
