Thread: Suggestions poll for Soviet Airborne Guards17 Jan 2020, 21:59 PM Pointless unit when you can spam SVT conscripts that are way stronger in combat and also cheaper than STG Volks while also having merge and Urra. Buffing it would be wrong. Replacing it with something else or changing the character of the unit is the only choice. In: COH2 Balance

And an MG doesn't counter a RET either because you can shoot the grenades from inside garrisons, over shot blockers, can park the RET behind green cover. The second is to make the grenades manually targeted. That way, there's parity of micro: a click to shoot, a click to dodge. This would fix it and make it fair for both sides. In: COH2 Balance

On small maps where most units are close to each other there is simply no way to deal with Rifles when a RE with grenade is sitting next to them in a safe garrison. Just watching Helping Hans today lose in early to mid game to a lower-ranked opponent simply because of RE rifle grenade denying cover non-stop made me remember the abomination that this stupid ability is. It should get changed to a passive ability that works like a regular grenade instead of this constant grenade spam without any micro input neccessary. In: COH2 Balance

And AOD has always been a popular map, as the data reflects. Road to Kharkov is the most played 2v2 map because people like narrow chokepoint maps that don't require much movement. Just look at all the popular custom maps in workshop. Yet anyone who likes to play coh2 as it is meant to be played (instead of playing towerdefence) dislikes the map. Plus as I said, Alliance of Defiance is still one of the more playable 2v2 maps and thus not vetoed. Considering there are maps like Lierneux, Poltawa, Minsk, Rails and Metalls and Road to Kharkov in the map-pool there are just other maps that need to be vetoed instead. In: Automatch Maps

It is better than some 2v2 maps and that is the main reason it doesnt get vetoed for me but that isnt saying much considering the terrible state of the 2v2 map pool. I think the map is getting reworked currently so some more feedback would be good. I already gave whiteflash my feednack via discord so not much sense in posting it here again. In: Automatch Maps
