Are people seriously thinking winrate stats from a tournament in which every series went 2-0 apart from one are meaningful regarding balance of the game? The sample size of these stats are literally 3 games. Because in all the other games one team was so dominant that they won regardless of faction played.
OK. I was saying Axis ones wouldnt get used because they have things like Bunkers and pintle and weapon upgrades to eat their mu. Dumping 65 into a "maybe I'll wipe a squad" wouldn't fly
Pretty sure people would use soviet style demos when plating okw or ost. Soviet demos are still useful they are just not a no brainer anymore.
What´s the reason of putting Pak Howi behind side-tech? Doesn´t make that much sense to me. It would be fine if it was just unlocked after you get your Captain out. Against Ostheer you need indirect fire relatively early to deal with MG42s. It´s not really viable to get Pak Howi for that because it just arrives way too late.
We played around 10 games with the revamp patch. USF seemed good in 1v1. The earlier officer squad makes a real difference. So does the availability of AT options in every tier. I don´t think there is much of a problem with the changes in 1v1. Generally positive IMO.
In 2v2 USF still seemed pretty bad though. Not sure if the revamp mod will make USF a viable 2v2 faction, I guess UKF and Soviets will still be better than them. The problems that USF had in team games aren´t really solved.
Yeah Greyhound comes way too late. And it feels even more useless with the USF revamp mod, just no need for it when you have all these stock tools available.
Giving Cons SVTs is a bad idea because it would make them too similar to Penals.
One DP would be the better choice. And it would have to be locked behind T3 or even T4 (like the Osttruppen LMG). I don´t think this would be too OP because the DP isnt really that good.
That being said, the balance of Cons and Penals is decent at the moment, the concept of having two mainline infantry units is bad in general as Shadow has said earlier.
A good way to help Conscripts would be to merge Molotovs and AT-nades and make them 20 fuel combined. Paying 10 fuel for Molotovs and 25 fuel for AT-nades seems too much in my opinion. It just delays T70s way too much. Which is actually one of the big drawbacks of Penals vs Cons. You can always upgrade 1-2 Penals with PTRS without delaying your T70 but if you went Cons and you are being rushed by Axis LVs you have to go AT-nades and make the window of facing LVs without T70 even longer.
