General Information


Thread: Faymonville 1v17 Oct 2018, 20:04 PM I just want some help for overall play on this map. I always fall into this midgame rut against okw mostly (not so much against ost for whatever reason) where I don't have a lot of stable territory control and the opponent is usually bringing in a lot more resources than I am because of it. I ended up winning just through sheer outplaying and a couple of bad plays by him (mostly when he tried to prevent me killing his schwerer along with instances of commandos wiping his infantry). Again, any general tips on how to play on this map against okw would be appreciated. In: Replays

Abilities and utility is better direction since it allows both lmg gren and 5 men grenadier to be used and not one replacing the other. 5 men flamer squad are problematic imo. +1 I really like the commander as a whole. I don't realy know how I fel about 5 man flamers but I don't think it's crazy OP since they only have mp40s. In: COH2 Balance

Not quite comparable though, as tanks aren't invisible and you don't have to move your rocket arty off the back line. Hell, even put some tellers (or other mines) in between their tanks and your rocket arty. Those things also all come with a warning and some sort of avoidability. Different from trying to not run over tellers (which essentially comes down to luck sometimes, even though careful planning and good sweeping can mitigate that risk. In: COH2 Balance

Needless to say they laughed. In lategame there is almost no chance a puma can actually just dive and find units like that. Trying to avoid mines or any medium/heavy armor piece is nearly impossible. Yeah so now imagine trying to kill a JT or Ele in teamgames. There's annoying stuff like that on both sides. In: COH2 Balance

"linear" as taken from Google If that's correct than that means accuracy, penetration etc stats change after they cross their thresholds. If that is actually NOT what is intended, than I believe the word meaning here is "dynamic". If the penetration value goes 50% between mid and far when you're 50% between mid and far ranges, that is dynamic. If it remains at far till your cross the mid threshold, I'd say that is sequential. I think he means linear like the mathematical term. Look up a linear function as opposed to a step function (thresholds). In: Lobby

If he’s not paying attention, nades can get a wipe pretty easily and even if he is then pack howies, Shermans, and Scotts will be a huge problem for him. How you go about that is a bit situational and up to personal preference but there are enough options that getting at least one along with riflemen nades is pretty doable. Rangers with Thompsons and lmg paras also do serviceably well against them, and paras will probably out-trade them fairly heavily since they’re cheaper. In: US Forces Strategies

I wouldn’t call 2 hits to kill nearly undestroyable. By that logic even the 222 is literally god.
