If OST goes for an Ostwind, it can get a StuG to support it. UKF doesn't have that sort of cheap AT tank to support the Centaur unless it goes for Lend Lease Assault Regiment. That leaves the Centaur reliant on anti-tank guns for AT support, which heavily limits its mobility. That means the Centaur needs a hefty AI advantage over the Cromwell to make that sacrifice worth it. That's currently achieved by the Cromwell having trashy anti-infantry. If you buff the Cromwell's anti-infantry ability, you risk rendering the Centaur off-meta to obsolete. Hence my suggestion to buff the Cromwell's AT instead, filling the midrange anti-tank role UKF currently lacks. You could also just slash the price on the Cromwell. In: COH2 Balance

Good god why is this a T0 unit and it only costs 260 MP? It used to be a huge problem for USF: if it got into a building, you needed a Pack Howie or a literal tank to get it out again. Thread: Cromwell MGs11 Oct 2019, 10:54 AM I actually think the way to go with the Cromwell is improving its AT: give it timed +penetration rounds or something. If you improve its AI, it competes with the Centaur and the Churchill. What UKF really needs is a competent AT tank sitting between the AEC and the Firely. Maybe move some of its speed buffs down vet, so it can disengage really easily? In: COH2 Balance

It's a 20 FU scout car. It's a USF 221 with smoke and minelaying. If you want a Greyhound, get a Greyhound for the price of a Greyhound. On release, LT tier had a BAR Lieutenant, .50 cals without the vet 0 AP, the M20 and an unusable, handbrakeless AAHT. If you went M20, it was your AT. So it had some tools to fight back so it didn't get splattered. If it didn't, one light vehicle could all but hard counter the tier. Lieutenant tier now has a Bazooka Lieutenant, Vet 0 AP .50 cals, the M20 and the Stuart. Everything in it can kill a 222. With that, the bazooka was overkill, so they removed it. In: COH2 Balance
