Thread: Firefly need to be cheaper12 May 2018, 20:55 PM Weither people are using it atm or not hammer tracking could easily turn the FF OP with a shorter reload. It also comes with blitz. A snare, high damage output, speedy mode (even if it's relative) and magic vision is a recipe for abuse. The FF seems to mostly be designed to be defensive AT which might explain the Cromwell higher than cost pen. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: alternative to Bren/vicker change12 May 2018, 18:46 PM Its kinda misguided comparing the performance of a gren lmg42 and a brit..anything. Grens are 4 man forever amd always as well as being a larger target AND more expensive per man cause reasons. I know the brits are the new faction but let grens be better somewhere. They are accurate because they are squishy. The lmg is exclusive to them (well ostroppen later i suppose) where brens/Vickers can be slammed onto any imfantry you want. The lmg is a great gun because it has to be In: COH2 Balance

Cons used to be the only squad that could deny cover amd garrisons, it was a good justification for them being subpar otherwise now volks can do it better AND fight better. Of sappers can do it too ontop of lmgs and AT and a small target size and 5 men amd 210mp idk.. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Spring Update - Balance thread11 May 2018, 21:11 PM Mortars countering snipers IS bad, thats why i suggested giving the sniper model 82hp and the spotter 46 health. Same EHP as now. But more likley to bleed if flanked while unable to be wiped by RNG. That coupled with cars buffed as a proper sniper counter would be more than enough without sucking out flavour and trying to balance a whole new design (better VS os but worse than ost for the same price? Fighting against weapons like lmg42 and lmg34s with massivly concentrated DPS) In: COH2 Balance

The quad is fine being the best at AA because its literally the only option except pintles on the isu/is-2 (260/230 fuel) you cant have passive AA as the soviet like you can for other factions (except the brits) and its in a very squishy package at that. If its barrage range is over half the map it certainly would help counter the mg42. The brits are a primarily defensive faction and thats reflected in the pit (poorly, but reflected none the less) the max range of the barrage would be your line in the sand and when the enemy crosses that line they feel it. That said, if pits had a toggle to attach their barrage range free on the pyro flares i would not be upset in the least. A little more rapid, light damage in between the 25lb shells might be a thing of beauty In: COH2 Balance

But simce there ISNT a 210mp light car that cam still cap if the enemy doesnt go sniper that could be buffed in the EXACT same way that other cars have been buffed to combat snipers i guess we will have to settle for copy and pasting and nerfing the ost sniper into the soviet faction. The british is going to be stuck as a campy faction if their only tech artillery is immobile with a limited range. the investment into the mortar pit demand the british protect it. Its previous range gave it dominance of most of the map and that range being auto fire allowed it to sway battles without any input. Its current range makes it nearly unusable because its stuck between being in range of a mobile enemy and out of range of anything. It needs range to not be a waste but it needs a micro tax to not make it over powered In: COH2 Balance
