Point here is that all infantries are contentiously receiving buffs because of VG MP44 and Panals SVT leading to power creep. By removing stock MP44 and making SVT an upgrade one can stop the power creep. One would also increase the effects of relative positioning make tactical moves more important. Here's how it works: - They always have a 50% accuracy penalty for all weapons they use. - In cover they get a 300% accuracy bonus solely for their Kar98k's. This mechanism imo would be a great way to fix issues with drop able weapons and with racks. Currently pick up certain weapon is a reduces the DSPs of certain units. By expanding this mechanism of different modifiers to picked up weapons to more units one could adjust the performance of a weapons to the unit is using it. In: COH2 Balance

They'd be like worse pre-7-man conscripts at that point and OKW would have to rely on either cheese or doctrinal infantry more than they already do. That or you buff the crap out of kar98 volks and they're way too good for their cost. Well if that was true they would little changes from now that they give all of the MP44s. With that changes upgrading to Brens seem to have become less desirable since one now lose considerable DPS on the move unlike before and bolster IS seem to able to deal with enemy mainline infatry adequately with little investment to weapon upgrades. That seem to have lead UKF to stockpile munition easier and use grenades and their powerful off map abilities more often. One may need to rethink this changes in relationship to the design and performance of bren. In: COH2 Balance
