Thread: Gren Rifle nade is to powerful.13 Aug 2021, 22:31 PM Gren nade is fine (All grenade call outs tend to bug or you get the awful UKF warning) and has a huge telegraph of a man sticking his rifle butt into the ground. More dangerous imho is when they use regular model 24 grenades and you are looking for the wrong telegraph or not at all, thinking you're inside min range. In: COH2 Balance

He outplayed his opponent and pulled some great moves to counter two Sturmtigers, even if it was all futile. Damn, that match was stolen alright. He must be beyond pissed off. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: CoH2 Summer 2021 Balance Patch - BETA13 Aug 2021, 12:02 PM AVRE buff is a mistake, esp to a unit that can already wipe units mostly reliably. I don't know what to make of the UKF tech changes, bolster etc. but it's leaving me uneasy. By improving the timing dramatically in 1v1 it's almost certain to spill over into 3v3+ and turn 'obnoxious' into a major problem. Well there's the SP RA vet II buff and some fixes I'm familiar with at least. In: Lobby

OKW has options to help out volks like PF, JLI, Falls and machine gun to slow down enemy blobs until Obers show up. The second statement is even stranger since every other army would be purchasing their respective elites after having a standing army. Assault grens can be built without T1 so that is savings that can be used towards making PG while osttruppen are dirt cheap so aside from micro nothing is stopping the player from making at least 1 PG. Also since PG can come without T2 they can hit the field around 4 mins which leaves them as a massive power spike. I was talking nondoc as Esxile talked about superior stock elite infantry. If you add doc in, then PF blob shows up by midgame and they don't even need Obers. Hell they can just meme with Falls or in the case of UKF (ab)use JLI until the UKF player RQs. MG34 is not a real issue imho considering the plethora of USF smoke abilities. Realistically you won't get PGs that quickly, unless your opponent is being strangely lax (1v1) or it's teamgames (which is another matter entirely). Having such a weak force out there is asking to get shot to pieces by allied mainlines outnumbering you, esp Rifles. To that end OST extremely often get a Sniper instead vs USF, which slows down the arrival of PGs even more. In: COH2 Balance

Not really relevant imho as one is locked behind Tier 4 (fighting for your life with volks) and the other you purchase after getting a standing army of grens/Osttruppen/MG(s). In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Buff Allied "Heavy Tanks"7 Aug 2021, 10:54 AM USF having a 'heavy' tank was dodgy even in COH1 where a vet 0 Tiger could realistically defeat a vet III Pershing. Had a far better player than I curse it out when that happened. Nothing's really changed in that regard iirc. In: COH2 Balance

Literally pinged the sh** out of the map to cover the positions and he/she would just blob penals into an MG arc or the best one. Frag bombs deleting 4 or 5 penals, one T34 85 and losing the other one to a Tiger and just leaving. I've seen beautiful plays from rank 300 people and shit ones game after game from top 10s in each faction. But to blob like that a high MP squad is just next level. So yeah, I might now have any respect for Sander the way he insults and screeches if he's losing (and getting cocky and also insulting you if he's winning against you), he is not a bad player, not at all. Still, doesn't mean he's any good in the balance department. Last post before we get deleted for Off-Topic: Artem_89's a one trick pony imho. Double clown car vs OKW and I've seen him use 5 in total after they keep getting destroyed. PTRS and Guards to crush LVs countering the clown cars. Then goes to T-34/85s to exploit the advantage of wiped squads. Has achieved the rank mainly through cheese. Definitely would be a prime target for a ST and your presumably competent OST opponents. It's chaotic the skill difference in some factions Was he called Artem_89? Sounds suspiciously familiar. 25 range ST would vaporise him if the game ever got that far. In: COH2 Balance
