If you mass retreat and then someone makes a push against your retreat point should you really have to fight with nerfed troops in a bad situation already? It just gets too messy when there already ways to punish blobs like HMGs, rocket arty, etc. There are also times when it's advantageous to concentrate your units without "blobbing" in the sense of mindless clumping because you can't micro well. As for the FRPs, well read my previous comment As for force concentration, there would be an aura so if they are not exactly touching each other, it doesnt have to activate (Which is obvious BTW, why does have to explain that??) Thread: Upcoming CoH3 installment (Poll)18 Feb 2019, 21:33 PM Jump back to quoted post18 Feb 2019, 21:30 PMMittens both the community and the engine itself needs to get better in terms of graphical capability before I'd argue for a Pacific Theater. The foliage would be pretty burdensome on many computers that haven't changed specs since 2011~. Less we mention the engine itself isn't rly all that well optimized in the particle department and still could look better in many cases. My money is on later African Tunisia with Sicily and mainland Italy being the campaign and focus. Mixed elements from AA expansion will mix into the main campaign with possibility of planes and boat implementation as tile units. What would be interesting would be to have brits be starting faction but IMO US would be the first followed by brits (as per usual). Good point Gettin a new engine is quite a no-brainer, this inflexible, unoptimized piece of crap will sure not be missed, even though the graphics are impressive In: Lobby

I don't play 1v1 (tbh the pace is kind of slow for me). I mostly play 2v2s and sometimes 3v3s If 1v1 GM, then I cant really comment, I dont play it often. Edit: I agree with the map focus. Trios especially, the retreat for USF is bugged. lmao Unit performances are the same in all modes Difference is, that in team games for example, its a lot easier to contain the broken OKW early game, OST has harder time exploiting holes in Brit army, and so on On the other hand, it has its own problems, arty spam, possibly ISU too much of a comeback tool and so on But yeah, maps are messed up across all modes, yet way less difficult to fix than faction balance In: Lobby

Well, certain match ups are rather unfair, like 1vs1 USF vs OKW or Brits vs OST, but more or less… Kinda wish that more focus would be moved towards map balance, which is often in way worse states than army balance has ever been In: Lobby
