Nope, all enemy units in the cutoff sector are automatically exposed then.
Quite rough to pull it off sometimes, but when it do works... feels good man! Feels good... (To say the truth, I didn't expect that lone Grens squad to get there in the first place, not to mention executing the Close the Pocket).
Tip: the by far best unit for doing the cutoff job is 1 or 2 222 scout cars with this 40 fuel insta cap + faster speed ability from that commander. Not to mention that 222 just melts caches
This + neutralize stuka bomb and sturmtruppen and you can cutoff any sector on any map
