imo the only faction that has weak AA is ostheer, both USF and OKW flak hts work pretty well from my experience, and the quad is the best by far. the centaur has a problem with slow turret rotation but once it gets on target it shoots down the plane pretty quickly. the ostwind has a pretty slow rate of fire compared to the other AA vehicles so it doesnt shoot down as fast but itll still do the job USUALLY.
USF's AAHT its hit or miss for me, sometimes it'll shit on planes super quick and other times it'll sit there tracking and do nothing.
I agree OST has pretty bad AA, the Ostwind 100% should get a AA buff |
Anyone know if we are getting unit changes also with the patch or is it strictly just new Commanders? |
Mine is between the 2 guys who know eachother and clearly had a bad game last game so they just flame each other the whole game or the 2k+ rank who tells you how to play or what to build. |
Constructive criticism is always fine, its the people that go "Kill yourself your maps are shit" or the general "map sucks" or the back handed trolling that incendiary is currently doing that makes them not get listened to.
Hm I always thought telling someone to kill themselves was constructive criticism |
A unit required to be built so you don't get rofl stomped by another unit screams bad design.
As far as OP goes, I don't really think the unit is overnerfed. It creates a large range armor imbalance that allies struggle to break through without coordiantion. It forces an inevitable dive that, when supported correctly with mines, pak guns, snares, is REALLY difficult to come out on top of. It doesn't solo armor anymore, thank god, but it is a great support armor piece that also when supported, creates a very lethal combined force.
Yeah but that's more of a discussion about the ISU than the Elefant imo. |
Isn't the elefant pretty popular in 2v2+ because it hard counters the IS-2 and ISU? I remember someone talking about how its necessary to have them or else the ISU will fuck you up on certain maps. I prefer it being highly situational than a no brainer pick. |
Does it apply to buildings like bunkers? and what does received damage mean? does it increase HP? or does it reduce damage incoming by a percentage.
It reduced the damage from a projectile by a % |
2 PTRS out 6 is actually 2/3 not half.
PTRS Penal at vet 3 have more DPS than penal vet 0 so they are not "next to useless against infantry" as their PTRS are.
(edited to avoid misrepresenting Lago's opinion)
Could've sworn they got 3. I must be misremembering WBP. They changed so many times during that.
In that case, 66% DPS. A little more respectable, but it means losing their 1v1 advantage which is why you build them in the first place.
I might use them a little more now.
Huh I also swore they got 3 thanks for clearing that up.

Im pretty sure the e8 will get used more if they were in a better commander. Its fine as is but at the same time its not worth picking a pretty subpar commander just to get the e8. |

Strategies and Rational
This commander is designed to provide aggression into the mid to late game with a large selection of powerful aggressive units and Air Support. Use powerful cqc infantry to take enemy territory early and make way for powerful version of the Sherman tank. Use American Air Superiority that has been ungrounded to support assaults along the front.
This commander is designed to bring the Easy 8 into a new aggressive commander, Personally I love both the unit and the model and it would be great to see it in another doctrine. I think the E8 would be great in a more aggressive doctrine as the on the move accuracy bonus supports a fast aggressive playstyle.
