Cheeseketen is the only way to push back its AT capabilities. I agree with that, its also better at lower elo since double raken can go around and burst tanks down against people who have poorer micro. It also improves a lot with Vet if you can vet it up, however the crew seems to stand ontop of eachother and all die instantly to any arti or lucky tank shell. Thread: Vickers need suppression 8 Mar 2019, 20:21 PM Why not give it more suppression but nerf some of its damage? Currently 2 things it is best at is wiping squads on retreat and beating other MGs in a 1 on 1. I doubt most people want their heavy MG to be only good at that. I personally think its high damage is the biggest issue because with the current damage, unless the vickers insta suppressed in a burst or less, it kills a model and has to retrack, and if it could consistently suppress that fast with its high damage it would probably be a little too strong. I also feel its currently a bit inconsistent, while typically its pretty meh sometimes it vets up fast to vet 2 then feels pretty good. In: COH2 Balance

A more interesting question. The BARs are higher priority than the Scoped rifles AFAIK, so they lose the snipe rifles before they lose their BAR. At four versus six models pathfinders drop DPS faster and can no longer snipe at half models, while the G43s retain their full damage output as the KARs drop and only the weapon upgrade remains. Pretty sure the scoped rifles take priority against the BAR on pathfinders, which is why the BARs drop all the time on PFs. Essentially dropping 1-2 models is losing 1-2 BARs of DPS, so if PFus get good rng and drop models quickly pathfinders DPS drops significantly. Although Im still surprised they won considering PFus are more of a mid range squad than a long range squad. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Why has the USF regular sherman become so bad...4 Mar 2019, 19:29 PM The OST p4 vs Sherman in my experience is more of a coin flip than anything else, Considering the sherman is cheaper that's pretty good. It also has the best AI of all mediums and its not really that close. It has 3 MGs like a p4 but also gets the HE shells that absolutely shit on infantry. The Sherman only really struggles to fight the OKW p4 since that tank has a lot of armor but it also costs a lot more so it would be ridiculous if the Sherman could 1v1 a okw p4. In: COH2 Gameplay
