That does not justify going for the most garbage abilities either.
Just because these aren't regularly used abilities doesn't mean they are garbage - if anything they suffer from being in so-so commanders that aren't commonly used so you never see them.
For The Fatherland gives a -35% Received Accuracy Buff (for reference Vet 3 Rifleman have -43% Total) and as far as I know it stacks with Veterency. A potent defensive buff like that makes sense for Fortifications. Though Hull Down is equally useful (Calling Cloaked Hulled JP4s OP now)

Recoup Losses gives you 20 MP back per model and games (particularly close matches) are often decided on MP Bleed... its not flashy but its far from useless, especially given Falls notorious MP bleed. Recon flight also makes sense for this doctrine given the Luftwaffle flavor of the doctrine. Maybe Supply Drop Zone? Though that doesn't really mesh with the OKW "supply-starved" flavor assuming Relic even cares about that anymore.
