Thread: Lefh Counter Barrage Controversy23 Mar 2021, 12:10 PM Maybe counter barrage has been OP for a while, and people just actually care about team games now? There's no more "1v1 is all that matters talk" which dominated balance for half the games' life I don't really understand how anyone can defend this ability in it's current form. You don't have to micro, in a game, that's literally all about micro. There's not even a cost or duration for the ability lol. What's the justification for that? In: COH2 Balance

It does not. It is not very easy at all, because you don't know the enemies commander in advance There are more commanders with leFH than there are ways to combine recon and nukes with 1 person. And the soviets can only do that with 1 specific doctrine Meanwhile every single leFH commander gives you the ability to counter other howitzers. By default. This is not balanced In: COH2 Balance

Call in a off map in multiplayer game is not really that hard. That doesn't respond to what they said. With random teammstes it is that hard. Your only chance of coordinating it is through text chat, which is not easy and you don't even know if they speak your language In arranged teams, not a problem at all. Yeah I guess it is better performance wise. But the fact that you have the Katy available no matter what is still a big edge over the calliope In: COH2 Balance

Werfer now has reliable anti-blob. Werfer last patch was the ultimate RNG machine lol It wasn't bad it just wasnt as necessary. And tech structure was completely different back then for both factions so it's hard to compare really. Point is it was there to begin with The werfer was already good against blobs. Not quite sure what you mean by ultimate rng machine, pretty sure that's reserved for something like B4. Sure it's not as good anti-blob as shotgun katyusha, but that's the best anti-blob tool in the entire game There's a reason they nerfed the recharge time vet bonuses on all rocket arty, including werfer. It's main barrage is plenty good still. The brumm leans slightly OP for me but I feel like it's less used in 1v1. Might knock it out entirely if they nerf it anymore In: COH2 Balance

The TDs do just fine like you said, but recommending AT infantry against a brummbar is not a good idea They work great if you block the brumbarr with a flanking medium. Thread: General USF Commander overhaul22 Mar 2021, 02:45 AM Jump back to quoted post22 Mar 2021, 02:18 AMthedarkarmadillo aye, but its effectively a 4 slot commander because you will have access to one or the other. nothing says the 5th ability would have to be a pershing or anything of that caliber, even a recon pass would be a nice addition (minor because the usf already have major recon, but handy to have in the pocket) at any rate, i was more responding to your dilemma of bundling and was offering a potential solution should the bundle be the only thing that as holding you back I think the bonus of being able to share them with teammates is enough to offset the fact that you'll unlock one anyway. I always felt airborne is more of a team game cmdr even without sharing dropped weapons. Using either of those weapons as a soviet player is hella fun, especially if you went t1 Good solution if they ever do feel like bundling them. A recon run like you said or maybe a pinning strafe would be a good new ability without being too much In: COH2 Balance

"Too seriously" is entirely subjective. There's no substance to that claim whatsoever I don't know why you're even talking about RNG like that matters. Real world sports have even more luck and chance, and there's WAY more money on the line there In: Lobby
