No i disagree. Your calculation only show over nerf if head to head with a panther. 120 will still dominate all other T3 tanks. By reducing damages, it balances out with more chance of axis T3 tank to pen it and drain hp. The same issue with reducing panther armor to allow T3 units to fight it.
Why should Churchill concern with panther 1v1? Ukf have enough units to compose an army to support 120 Churchill main gun. should we make shreks 160 damage too, cos heck unit composition.
But as you say, the boss have the last say. Those with powers wins and will never go back after publication, there are those who can trademark best spot ever or pat themselves with symbolic 5 fuel 'overperformance' penalty or just 'decent' 240/180/1400 survivability.
But i believe in democratic freedom of speech, things may change for better or worse, just because we care. Trump may be president today, who knows what if next year.
So your point is that you want to nerf the main gun of a UKF battle tank to match a Shrek (120), except that it will have about 50 less pen than a shrek. What a brilliant idea! Then the balance team could turn around and nerf all of the axis tanks to match the bazooka. I don't know if they could do the less penetration part of the match though, I'm not sure if the bazooka even has 50 pen. |

It also prevents spam.
So spam means 2 guards, or do you just make a habit of buying halftracks and losing them?
Most of us never want more than one of the halftracks, and we can get it from Tier 3 without the call-in. |

I couldn't find it in the patch notes but at some point it was changed to be a "area of denial" tool. The shells are up to 9 now but the AOE is tiny. The video wouldn't have looked very different if those were enemy units. I didn't see any direct hits in the video (though hard to tell for some of the units) but when you combine bad AOE with a friendly fire modifier then you will get next to no friendly fire as the OP contends.
This has came up in other threads. If a couple of the shells would land in the exact center then at least this would be good for countering howitzers. |

That's the basis of all conscript upgrades... Only worth it if you want multiple squads of dead weight to invest heaps of resources into so they function only slightly below their counterparts instead of dramatically below.
Cons are somewhat useful in doctrines like Shock Motor heavy. One or two by the ISU help to protect AT guns and protect against flanks. Their snare is one of my favorites in the game. I don't usually get more than two because they are mostly dead weight like you say.
The seventh model helps a little in terms of survival, but nobody will pay the 100/25 to unlock it unless they're doing some kind of con spam in 1v1.
If the Soviets are going to have to pay 100/25, it should unlock a SVT upgrade like in airborne. |
osther (like SU) don't get free stuff (officer FPR or flack gun) like other faction
that's why su and osther have similar cost 175, 185 (then their tank cost 90 and 120 so they come around the same time)
compare it okw and u will see the picture (as one could make the same argument switching ost for su and usf for okw)
btw the 250 cost is if u got for bot at gun , mg and LV , it's 230 if u go for at gun and mg only

I am going to become the number 1 ladder player on Axis, both OST and OKW. After this, I will infiltrate myself into the balance team to unleash my master plan that is to nerf every Axis unit currently on the roster. For my coup de grace I will delete OKW from the game.

You said it doesn't come out sooner but then showed the 870/175 cost to start building P4's and Ostwinds versus a minimum of 990/215 to start making Shermans or Jacksons. Most of us like having both MG's and ATG's so it is 1190/250. Are you trying to tell us that 870/175 is more than 990/215? |
Having to purchase them with a halftrack is a deal breaker. The infantry is good when I've tried it but really don't want a bunch of halftracks. |
