Either relic does not listen so there is no point of even having a beta test and participating or it was tested by 90% axis fanboys. What we did back in COH1 does not work anymore. It is ridiculous though, the demo must require a sweeper to spot, but an A-moving squad / blob can AUTOMATICALLY spot the cloaked Goliath and finish it before the Goliath retreat or reaching the squad, is strictly stupid. The cloaking mechanism of Goliath should encourage the Axis player setting up a trap and decimate the bad blobbing player, but it ends up punishing the Axis player wasting 100 muni by doing the correct and intended way. They need to remove or greatly reduce the distance of an infantry squad spotting the CLOAKED Goliath, and make sweepers detecting it. lmao "it punishes the axis player". If you put it behind a building like I said above what is going to stop you from wiping my squad? I will have a split second to react and the blast radius is huge so still not going to matter. Thread: A move > ambushed Goliath10 Dec 2015, 00:32 AM It is broken as shit if you are in ANY map with buildings especially city type maps all you have to do is hide it behind a building then boom dead squad. There is 0 way to know that it is there, unless you can see the future you will not retreat in time before you get wiped. Who cares if it cost 100 munitions when it can easily wipe my rifle squad with two bars. Who won there? and it is fast enough to sometimes cut off retreating infantry. Lets be realistic other than early game you cant fight axis infantry with just one squad your going to move to use mulitple units and often times close together because of like I mentioned narrow streets things like that. It has 0 counter other than driving and clear open territory, but even on those maps there is always a few buildings to hide it behind where it becomes unavoidable unlike demo charges In: COH2 Balance

If they simply made them similar to zooks I think that would maybe help too where they would not pen as much and do as much dmg. I don't know about this patch in general I don't mind them buffing volks I guess but the whole design of them having the reduced income equaled them having very effective units and a non-doct heavy and vet 5 and also that it would be somewhat of a big loss to them if you wiped a squad took out a panther, jp4, or KT. Now I feel like they will simply just be able to replace it when before taking one of those out might of meant GG for them. In: COH2 Balance

To answer your points: Shreks cannot rip it apart if it is braced. Shreks have to get to it to rip it apart, it can be a long way away and protected by MG / enemy army. Ost MG bunker cannot brace Ost MG bunker is not useful behind shot blockers Ost MG bunker is not long range and can easily be avoided I don't know why your comparing Ost bunkers to Brit emplacements. 1 is MG based more like USF emplacement. The other is a mortar. They serve two different things for two different factions which both are designed around. Thread: OKW Vet 5 justified (December Update)?1 Dec 2015, 17:05 PM With full income and still having vet 5 they will completely dominate late game. It will be impossible to out cap them because there infantry at vet 5 can already just stand on cap and ignore pretty much any other allied infantry or vehicles. Now on top of that they will have plenty more resources to spam vehicles and off maps. I think for full income vet 5 will need nerfed. Maybe there trucks too since there nerfing all off maps as well. I see the problem with them being linked to teching but after all there has to be some compensation for buffing volks and restoring full income. In: COH2 Balance

JP4 can be defeated by a couple zooks. Phase tech is stupid and broken. Assuming it gets fixed one day, JP4 will be completely useless. LOL. If you let you jp4 get defeated by a couple of zooks then you must be terrible at this. Or you drove it into enemy lines with 0 inf or any support. In: COH2 Balance
