If Brits were unplayable realistically, they would not have won any games in OCF or have a higher win ratio than both Axis factions.
They have their problems but they are in no way unplayable. I would possibly even argue they are fine but are overshadowed by how well soviets/usf are doing at the moment.
Also considering the centaur plays vs really good opponents that worked in OCF and has worked with top players vs top players, the problem of surviving that long lies with you, not the brits.
I mean for sure they are not even close to as OP as most people make it out to be, but they are a good faction that can beat both OKW and OST. If you think they are unplayable, the problem lies with you not the faction. Stop posting in balance 24/7 and try posting in state office and try to get better.
I do not need advice with them it is pretty simple atm if you can make it through early game you will be alright, but you have to do it with out using emplacements and using the wasp that was heavily nerfed, a 6 pounder and centuar rush. Problem is the bleed of IS early game, later they pay off when vetted but you pretty much have to rush centuar every game to have a chance. There is no doubt some late game things will need balanced like tulips needing a cost increase or higher cd etc. comet I feel is in a good place stats wise very comparable to panther but may need teching adjusted a bit to match its field time.
For the vast majority it is incredibly hard to make it to the late game with out be over numbered and bleed to death especially because of ost snipers and Lieg that everyone knows it not alright atm. Then late game needs obviously adjustments first like toning down the centuar then balance the rest later.
So yeah I should probably of not said unplayable. atm its the fact that because they cant really use there emplacements it is extremely hard for them to reach the late game. it greatly narrows there options and takes away any indirect fire to counter the lieg, mgs, and there own static positions. |
The other imbalance part of it is not only ISG kills the mortar pit (and other emplacements) too quickly at ease, but the ISG is often sitting beside the medic and keeps being constantly healed, which means it's absolutely impossible to counter barrage it. (not to mention if u try repairing the mortar pit, the sappers get instant wiped)
Yep, i've tried it with two sappers you can't win vs the ISG and not only do you end up losing your mortar pit that is very expensive you lose your RE too. Every time. ISG can just reinforce by truck. The mortar pit SHOULD win 1v1 straight up against the ISG. The ISG can be reinforced and can simply move out of the barrage to another location still giving it the ability to harass the mortar pit but not hard counter it. The ISG cost less, can move , and be reinforced it shouldnt win against a expensive immobile piece or the brits will never have indirect fire or any ways of countering mgs etc.
Incendiary shit is another problem it should only have a chance to decrew and NOT do any damage it already stops you from being able to repair the structure. |
I have always felt that shreks gib infantry way too much. I think its because of the high dmg of the shrek which I also always felt should be more like the zook. Zook does not gib infantry nearly as much like the shrek. |
It will be fine when they fix the damn Lieg and Pakhowie and nerf the flame dmg the emplacements take from incendiary grenades and barrage from the mortar ht. |

And what is with this early game weakness nonsense? I would understand it if brits had no early hmg. But since they have one.... followed by that UC which is much harder to kill than any of its counterpart in any other faction?
It may seem weak in early game in 1v1 but in other game modes where the team mate/s can support it, this weakness is totaly irrelevant.
How is the UC harder to kill than any of his counter parts? you faust it and its pretty much dead? At least the kubel can pin like 3 squads at once, does not have to be upgraded to do so, is faster and I am pretty sure it is cheaper. The UC does almost 0 dmg now and is completely fucking useless cause the wasp was nerfed to hell (use to be only good thing about it) the flamer does no dmg now and the UC never did before when it didn't get upgraded to the wasp which cost 90 munitions which I think no one thought about when the nerf bat came.
2v2 there still weak it is like playing 2v1 most the early game. They are completely worthless until centuar which yeah I agree needs a nerf but not until the early game is fixed. IS can't attack because they are useless with out cover, they have no smoke, they have no at snare, and piats are useless against any one with half a brain that does not just move there vehicle a bit. Vickers thanks to okw new nade gets wiped like crazy.
Leig (which i'm sure you will defend despite the mile long thread of how it makes the game unplayable) further makes brit useless with it wiping and bleeding MP from IS and rendering emplacements useless. How you would let brit even get to centuar is beyond me and by the time they get one you should have more than enough counters.
Fix Brit early game then worry about there late game.
The church has a lot of hp but has a shit gun its a damage sponge what it is suppose to be. The comet is a 185 fuel expensive to tech good tank but not OP its similar to panther why shouldn't allied get a good tanks? |

Chill and camp vps sounds like OKW truck camping I dunno if we are playing the same game because even when you could 24/7 brace a bofos it couldn't fire why doing so and was not that hard to take out. OKW flak truck is like 10 times harder to take out and almost gaurantees 1/3 map control most the game or 0 fuel harassment from the enemy team leaving you to only have to focus the remaining 2 parts of the map. Sure they might lost it eventually but not until the damage is already done from the area denial and the game is late enough it does not matter as much if they lose 1 truck. Camping vps has always been an axis thing especially on choke point maps. |
Current state of emplacements is terrible.
Before brace nerf it was hard to kill, yes, but it was easy to counter.
You did not need to kill it, to counter it.
One ISG/Mortar shooting at it was perfect counter.
Your mortar did not get any kills (shooting at emplacement) but on the other hand you forced emplacement to be on brace mode all the time so no kill for them.
It was simple and very good solution in my opinion.
1 unit shuting down another it perfect way.
Currently it's terrible.
No one will spend 400MP for immobile mortars which die fairly quickly once brace is down.
Bofors? Again, 1 mortar is enough to put it in brace mode.
It's like taking 3 units from Brits (that 17 pounder pop cap) which leaves them without mortars, mid game unit to hold the ground and without famous 17p.
Current early-mid game is dying.
No flamers to clear buildings (WASP will help until 222), no SMGs, no assaut rifles, no mortars, no smoke, no nades, no mid game unit to hold the ground (222, flamenwerfer, Stug E; 251/17, Puma, Luchs; Stuart, AA truck; Quad, T70).
This hole should be filled by Bofors or Armored Car but both are useless in current state, which leads us to desperate rush for Centaur because there is no other way to hold in front of HMGs and LMGs.
What's more, it's not like you can afford 400MP mortar pit 
I'm still amazed how 2 mortars covered by sandbags, which cannot retreat are losing to 2 mortars on the open field, without any special cover 
They should be hard to deal when using tanks or mortars, fairly easy when using late game arty like railway and very easy to infantry as a reward for getting so close.

They nerfed the wasp to hell that was brits only early game surival attack tool. Now the flamer does almost no dmg and the carrier never really did any dmg what so ever without vickers or flamer.
IS are only good in cover and cannot really attack by themselves so many times early game there just useless unless your on a map with a lot of cover. Houses don't really work now cause of volks new grenade which rapes IS in or out of buildings. Not to mention the leig wiping your costly MP IS and making emplacements useless.
Other than 6 pounder they have no early AT. Piats are worthless against any player who has half a brain.
Sniper gets wiped by lieg and does not have steal body armor like ost sniper.
Against decent axis player I see no way you survive long enough to get to the centuar and when you do its counters are already there or you've lost soo much map control its GG. 3v3 and 4v4 are the only mode I find brits viable atm but it is a bit like your team is playing a man down the first half of the game. |
hahahhahahahahahahah lets give the usf R.E m19 lmg at vet 3.Becuase Strum>R.E at all times at least volks get up to vet 5 super powers hard to squad wipe late game with easy early high exp shrek hits and op super squad wiping garnades combined with any other okw elite infantry is hard to beat

Completely makes sense for cheapest base, spammable, easily maintainable infantry to have best AT weapon and one of best AI weapons.
Seems like 100% balanced decision, we should implement it ASAP.

Why especially after you just got a new grenade that is really good, imo too good for them. That gave them even more versatility now lets make them even more versatile! Like NO. You have obers and access to falls and other infantry units for a reason. I mean do you like spamming nothing but volks isn't that fing boring? I mean I wish USF had something viable other than riflemen but they don't in the infantry department unless you go airborne okw does. |
The game is borderline unplayable at this time because of it. Especially last night when i was playing against double okw its just a joke. Brits have 0 chance to even make it to centuar which is the first unit they can get to make a difference there early game has been completely ruined IS useless out of cover wasp nerfed to useless emplacements worthless. Pretty much any faction can't do shit about lieg bullshit its completely broken.
Lieg needs changed bad take away the suppression or something. It is not even on the same level as the pak howie and the pak can't be used the same way. The way okw is built it is much easier for them to protect the lieg, its fires 360 degrees with a huge arc which the pak does not. The pak is much more able to be decrewed taken out or stolen because USF are not a defensive factions with trucks to hide behind plus the Lieg has a shield that apparently bounces mortar shells. Either way both shouldn't suppress if there going to snipe models from half way across the map.
