Why are we still not doing anything about the artillery flare when 70 percent of the community wants something done about it and the other 30 love abusing it so they dont want anything done about it. Do you work for the community or for yourself interest?
It is so simple to fix by either make it work the same and flare on riflemen to volks, or just make it some kind of a rcon plane. |
I do not see the problem with bofors I use it all the time, luchs puma have a great chance to escape it, and 222 not as much but still does.
I do not think it matters really bofors cant move and cost fuel, and is SO easily taken out with the 100 tools im not going into that can destroy or harass it.
Yes you should retreat from it the very instant you run into it, thats the whole shock and awe of why you would even build it in the first place. Then the area denial until they get the tools together to take it out which can say for ost as simple as an at gun and a mortar with a mg42 covering lol. |
Rifle Company is obviously designed to be a mobile doctrine, the 1919 doesn't fit it at all.
It would be better to give some minor buffs to the existing 1919 doctrines (earlier M5 and 1919 timing, suppression strafe cost reduction).

1919s for rifle company would make it more viable and makes a lot of sense. Both other 1919 docs are artilery based. Would be nice to have access to ez8 and 1919. Mines, fire up, riflemen defenses no one really cares about at least I dont. White phos call in is good, RE flamers good, Ez8 is decent wish it had a bit more speed to make it a better flanker and better at trying to escape panthers.

FLares should work exactly like riflemen flares, have to be used from volks. Def something needs changed tho legit map hacks all day every team game, howitzers useless, suprise attacks/ flanking manuevers useless. USF/brit fwd retreats useless. list goes on been broken forever. |

problems with panther balance doesn't mean the Jackson isn't overperforming and it doesn't excuse it. The su85, firefly, jp4 all can also only fight tanks and do nothing to infantry but they don't get a free pass to go against balance.

Other factions have AT guns that don't require constant muni dumps to actually do their job, so US has to make up somewhere else in AT department.

I mean. The jackson is uniquely disadvantaged when fighting unsupported because it has a gimped LoS. It can't chase because it can't self spot and it can't well defend itself alone because it can't see anything.
That is, in ny book, a proper weakness. Not as crippling as the casemate lack of turrets, but it also costs more than an su85, and the su85 not only has normal sight but two different ways to improve on it.
Saying it has no weaknesses it a little disingenuous.
