The ISU is bad, but actually everything wrecks infantry late...Why bother with a vetting system for infantry now, seriously... In: COH2 Balance

Thread: ISU-15226 Apr 2014, 05:47 AM If you're going to buff its health and rear armor, it can't be this good at AT and AI. It feels way too strong in every respect. I think it needs less penetration, a tad less health, but keep more of the rear armor so one flank doesn't mean GG. If it's going to be this good at anti-inf, it should perhaps be more likely to do some kind of critical to tanks that obliterates the crew for a bit rather than wrecking the tank's health (but you could reman or have it automatically remanned after some period, as that's in keeping with what it did to tanks in real life). I think an ISU-152 should fall to a PZIV/Tiger flank given the costs, but right now with a T34 in support, or basically any other AT unit, that's not going to happen with even a modicum of micro, especially if you use mark target. Thread: April 24th Patch Notes Discussion 25 Apr 2014, 23:17 PM Really startin' to feel Pgren nerf was unnecessary...They have a span of about 2-4 mins midgame when they are useful. After armor comes out, that's 320MP down the drain, you're lucky to get one shrek shot off before you have to retreat. The only way to use them late is to ambush, which most decent players won't just walk into. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: April 24th Patch Notes Discussion 23 Apr 2014, 23:58 PM Pgren nerf probably came from some noob in closed beta owning a dev a couple times with 4 pios - T2. They were a bit too good vs shocks for instance, though, so maybe...I'll keep on open mind. Arty nerfs were also unnecessary, spending that much MP on arty in 1v1 or 2v2 is a totally legit strat which is countered by lots of commander abilities. In: COH2 Gameplay

Let's see what happens with the tanks...I still think it won't be worth it to try to flank tanks because it doesn't seem they adjusted the moving accuracy on the T34s... And...ram probabilities remain the same? So ram probably won't be used at all, I've only seen a dying T34 ram a tank and succeed before getting killed once or twice in all these months. Northwestfresh22 Apr 2014, 18:18 PM I agree, but the game itself doesn't require that level of skill and in players' defense, they keep totally altering every aspect of the game with every patch so that level of skill isn't reached easily. Everyone has to adjust and before someone reaches a level 18 skill, they seem to wreck the balance again. Even super good players need some time to adapt. In: Replays

Northwestfresh22 Apr 2014, 17:45 PM Now, now, this game has a low enough skill cap (and small enough player base) that if you can play 10 games in a row without significant errors you can be top 100. If you maintain consistency, you will be top 50. And if the faction you are playing is favored by the current balance, you are top 25, easy. If you get drunk and play too many games, you won't be top 100 anymore. So I hope NW takes up your challenge! In: Replays
