Actually they should be cheaper in my opinion since they can't win early engagements against other standard infantry (with equal cover). They might win against cons on long range, but no sane soviet player will do that in the beginning. Against riflemen they seem always to lose. 240 mp vs 240 mp implies that there should cover and range situations that will guarantee a win. Just like long range grens vs rifle men & cons. Sure they scale well due the vet 5 system of the okw. But so does every okw unit. In: COH2 Balance

I see a similar pattwrn forming for sovs abusive ways vs okw. M3 plus maxim spam. Followed by zis reinforce then gg with t34 85 Nah, you are just bad player. T34/85 have hard time penetrating the front armour of a Jagdpanzer IV. Cripple the t34/85 with mines, falls or fusiliers and your jagdpanzer can snipe them. Support with schrecks or rocket at in a building and those t34 are quickly gone. Guards+recruits have a hard time against okw. You should really go shocks. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Sturm offizer and Panzerfusilier26 Jun 2014, 14:38 PM Panzer fusiliers are extreme useful. Very good durability and they scale so good into endgame. They can inflict engine damage and you don't have to be afraid to get a wiped squad once chasing a tank for the engine damage. They have a good sight range, means that they can spot for your Jagdtiger + a flare ability. The vet 5 ability (perma sprint) is pretty decent to keep map control. The sturmoffizier is good in early game imo. You get 3 obersoldaten very early. Keep the squad in range and you will get your kills with time. Only thing I don't understand is why the Sturmoffizier can not gain any vet. Isn't he the only unit in the game that is handicapped in that way. Maybe a bug? In: COH2 Gameplay

Is there was already a balance issue with M3 and Maxims vs OH. They had two months plus testing with OKW to realise how ridiculous it is. Coupled with the fact that they have now effectively replaced ISU152 with IS2 and the next OP thing and nerfed tiger and done absolutely nothing to benefit OH is an absolute joke. Disgusting. Soviet armor was buffed last patch and now with further buffs to IS2 and KV8 its just becoming a joke as if it wasnt bad enough. And now we have to wait another month just for a patch i BET! The Tiger and the IS2 are now more or less equal. Tiger has higher dmg, IS2 has better defense. Before the patch Tiger was >>> IS2. Although the costs were the same, that was unfair and not balanced, therefore you hardly encountered any IS2. It's not like nobody said something about the M3 scout cars in the test forum. Don't know why relic was not adjusting the M3, I guess they were focusing completely on the balance between all 4 factions, especially late game. However the M3 is not uncountable, you just need to play really defensive in early game. And put the rocket at into buildings. In: COH2 Balance
