It's impossible to deploy the mechanized regiment, then battlegroup headquaters and then a jagdpanzer 4 within 10 minutes. I'm usually against nerfing units of any faction, unless a stale meta is formed around it, like it was during the isu vs elefant times or during shocks vs flame. By nerfing the puma you'd decrease the use of the mechanized regiment, since most people build to have reliable at in early to mid game. Stuka is usually produced when you encounter a blobber or somebody who entrenches with maxim spam. I usually go for battlegroup headquaters, I just don't like that you want to take tactics and thereby versility away from the game. I'd rather see a cost increase than a nerf, if it's inevitable. This unit is designed to be a tank hunter, I have the feeling this people complain about a unit doing it's job. Likewise you could complain that a HMG supresses units and denies area. Such suggestions are quite useless. relic won't create a new unit model , yet alone all the skins that would need a change. I like the idea but something like this will never happen. Thread: OKW Puma21 Aug 2014, 09:03 AM I don't agree, it's in line with the OkW high risk / high reward design. It's an AT unit and serves as a replacements for paks and early accessible medium tanks. Taking the fuel penalty into account it moves around the price of a t34 (without taking teaching into account). You also seem to forget that in order to shine you need to heavily Micro it and honestly maybe less than 1 % of the players have the Micro to outplay an easy8. You can chase it through the smoke with a tank and usually managed to hit the killing shot. The triple smoke barrage in the past was op but got nerfed, since that it's OK in my opinion. Imagine a situation where you lost early game and your opponent rolls a kv 8 out, the puma would be the only reliable chance in that situation. In: COH2 Balance

Now it just feels like a normal assualt rifle unit. They were decapping very quick. People basically were running from on point to another decapping everything and due to perma sprint just avoiding /escaping every engagement, effectively denying resources and fuel till a Ostwind hits the field. They were cheap with only 220 mp and a blob turned to be very deadly able to wipe most on retreat due to their sprint. In: COH2 Balance

They do fine for the task they are designed for. 3 volks squads are an AT threat every player has to fear. Plus their grenades hold the potential to wipe every infantry. Give them ai upgrades and I predict you will face endless volks blobs. Okw has several ai options, they don't need ai volks. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Soviets - A core faction discussion20 Aug 2014, 16:19 PM Why not implement something that is already in the game? I remember the campaign had units called Frontowiki squads. They are basically buffed cons with ppsh and ai nades. My suggestion would be to give cons the option to upgrade to these Frontowiki squads once they reach vet 3. For a small manpower and munitions price + t3 or t4 researched . By this the Soviet faction manage to scale their cons well into the late game. It would support combined arms because you'd still need 1-2 cons squads for at nades and sandbags. And fanboys would get their battle hardened core infantry that has a better name than conscripts.
