If you have noticed, i haven't asked to nerf the damage output of the 120mm, just the survivability. In: COH2 Balance |

Thread: Reinforced Wire. Why....?11 Jan 2015, 23:37 PM
A M3a1 can drive through the arc of fire, without being shot, because the aim time is too high and then it's wiped at once. Same goes for the M20. I only had it working in synergy with the wire or in a building, but even then, flamer cars circle the building and wipe the gun. Mines counter early vehicles, or a fast schreck in syngery with sturmpios, because they also just get pushed around unable to shoot. In: COH2 Balance |

At gun, at gun, at gun... Nothing more. Doesn't this apply to a lot of soviet doctrines? Are they op too? Or is it op only because it's Axis? In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: soviet t3 and t4 cost issues....11 Jan 2015, 09:55 AM
It makes no sense that the t34 performs so poorly when compared with the Sherman for the difference of 10 fuel. The t34 needs to be either cheaper or buffed. Likewise the cost of a T70 is a bit too high, I think 65 fuel would be a good price. In: COH2 Balance |

It was never seen before it was buffed and now you see it sometimes in 1on1 & 2on2 Games. It's impact is only high, when the opponents refuses to build AT weapons. The wiping problem is something that occurs to all factions since the new unit grouping was introduced. In my opinion relic needs to fix that before any aoe ai weapons are hit with the nerf hammer. Hey I just explain the thoughts behind it, not that it's actually used for that purpose. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: Reinforced Wire. Why....?10 Jan 2015, 09:40 AM
It was introduced by relic as asymmetrical balance choice since okw can't inflict engine damage with it's base infantry, leaving it very vulnerable early vehicles, which can be blocked by it therefore. In: COH2 Balance |

I personally think its fine, its a 400mp investment that can or cannot payoff, the one shot ability it has is a issue that all mortars have. It's no more op than obers and stukas which every one think is fine for some reason Any topic has some Obersoldaten post. What do Obersoldaten have to do with On Map Artillery units? Some have really an Obersoldaten obsession. How is its high cost not a trade-off? Also, stop the "6 man squads are so much more durable" bullshit already. Axis has higher DPS to compensate for that. Don't compare on map artillery units with fighting units, those higher dps rules have no effect on that. LeIG/Pack Howitzer cost more, perform worse and can't retreat and are decrewed when one entity/two entites are left. If the 120mm is fine in your eyes, PackHowitzer/LeIG 18 are not.
It's better because it can retreat, has higher damage, can wipe reliably and still be operated with one entity and it comes with a lower price as a call in, means you don't have to decide for the tech. Again if the 120mm mortar is fine LeIG/Pack Howitzer need some huge buffs. Yet again I wouldn't like that, because full health one shot wipes would occur even more often.
Because Guard Motor Rifle is such a bad doctrine ![]() In: COH2 Balance |
