Well, the 30% claim was very much an 'up to' heavily depending on workload type, but you may be on to something. Given how poorly this game seems to utilise CPUs, I certainly wouldn't expect such patches to improve the situation.


I mean the delay is definitely on their end.
Claiming it isn't so would mean only its due to their most recent server patch or the issue regarding the AMD/Intel Bug that effects mainly server processors. If thats the case then the security patch (on release date of a week ago) decrease performance of server based CPUs by 30% to fix the security flaw.


Even still, my guess still stands and I assume the issue is due to their provider or Relic updating their servers top account for the issue.

I already sent the my steam ID to Relic in hopes that a fix is implemented or more servers are brought online

The "patches" are to improve security lol.
the Intel Meltdown issue is dependent on processor type and the fix mostly effects servers rather than consumer grade hardware. Trust me, if the 1 second delay is a thing outside of a change they didn't specify its prob due to the security issue.

Ugh. I originally thought maybe someone was using Netflix or Youtube while I was playing, but after trying again now I definitely think I'm experiencing this same lag. Even when I'm totally expecting grenades there are situations where I still lose the entire squad. It does tend to be a mix of input lag in the seconds and more stuttering than usual.

Nah, ever since they did the server maintenance thing, the input lag's been horrendous. Pretty much unplayable atm.

I experienced some of the lag today, .5-2 seconds on all commands. I have seen this before but it has not occurred at all in the last month+. (first time playing a lot since server maintenance was today).

I have noticed several seconds units do not obey movements and then "connection lost, connecting...". In some cases they are seconds without movements and then recover the movements the units.

The game was almost unplayable yesterday. I couldnt even select units properly at times. 1-2 seconds input lag. Units not following commands. Stuttering.

It´s awful

Played about 5 matches in the last 2-3 days - no problems at all.

Not really helpful, but I guess it's not effecting everyone.

Opinions reflect all team modes (not 1v1)

I have a 100 mb/s connection that's fine on all other games but CoH2 is giving me 2 second delays after moving units and stuff, it's unplayable competitively atm

I had actual units just not responding to commands. I ordered a P4 to attack move over and over and it just remained stationary. I've had units not respond to retreat commands.

I wonder if it is something to do with people updating their PC with the spectre fixes.

Wasn't impacted by this to start - but the last few days (Monday, Tuesday) it has been horrendous.

fix lag please >:( i try playing and then it is super hardcore , units don't respond properly like they used to

Katitof: Its not even close to me even at my worst in the past, imagine ullu, incendiary, aaa, vetlolcake and disto merge into one mega axis zord with forcefield protecting it from accepting any factual data. Add to that a victim card(his rumblings at my PM).
