And agreeing with people isn't intelligent?
It gives the idea/comment more weight behind it, and bumps it, with the goal of having Smith and co add it to one of their lists.

Anyway, I'm not going to argue more for the sake of arguing.

@Mr Smith or GG, what are the odds of us getting additional 1k supply (or even 500) per game with the Balance preview mod on?

You know what would change the game for the better?

Halving the mg42 set-up time while narrowing it's arc of fire by a half as well.

That would tlead to the cool dynamic coh1 "positioning mg's vs flanking mg's" mechanic in early game

Why? I thought CoH1 was the golden example of balance, and their MG's had the same arc as the MG 42 does.

Why nerf the MG 42 anyway? It was shitty for a long time already.

penals have no role and never will. give satchel to engineers, remove penals from game and move on with our lives. waaaaay to much time is being spent on balancing a unit that is a solution in search of a problem. They. Have. No. Role

In fact all tiers currently have access to some form of light AT except Soviets. Wehr: AC, pak, PGs in T2 and grens in T1, USF: M20 w/ zooks, AA HT as light AT, Brits: 6-pdr.


Well, if grens count as light AT, cons should also. ;)
Add to that: 30 mun all-purpose mines.

Difference is that Cons require additional upgrade.

I have suggested Penal as an ostturpen/assault grenadier hybrid squad and cons as a defensive...
Penal are cheap to mitigate the cost of T1 designed to flank with PPsh, ourah, molotov.

Conscript are defensive with sand bugs, and defensive ability something like hit the ground that cost MU and is timed.

You can, and faust is available to Ostruppen.

In addition your claim was that Gren have and advantage because their faust has not tech cost. It has it is the T1 building and it is actually a mandatory cost.

If things in your opinion should be equal one should not be able to make conscripts until he researched AT grenades...
