Thread: Volksgrenadiers Change1 Apr 2017, 11:23 AM They were given flame nades because OKW had and still has a hard time against garrisons. They were also given an AI-Upgrade, the MP44, because they weren't a reliable mainline inf past early-game. They were also given the PFaust, due to light tank base rushes. All these changes have been tested thoroughly by the community and finally made it into the live game. However there are two problems. Flame Nade: It is being used as a highly effective cover denial tool, an ability they don't need at all. At least not with this lethality. Also, due to the lethal nature and high ROF of MP44s, once an HMG crew catches fire, they get wiped out on retreat. Code Do not allow the nade to be used against anything other than garrisons Veterancy Rate: They also vet up too fast, which cancels the need to build AI specialists or elite call-in inf. Code %15-20 increased XP requirement should do the job. So without messing with their raw stats or veterancy bonuses, or giving cons DP LMGS for example, which is gonna cause troubles; these simple tweaks can make them more balanced against the soviets, especially post-WBP and maxim nerfs. Thread: GCS Balance Preview1 Apr 2017, 03:21 AM The Cromwell needs to have its penetration value lowered. Or perhaps I should say it is the PIV which is in dire need of a pen buff, I don't know. With RM and penals having been addressed already, I think VolkGrens need some adjustments. Be it increased vet XP requirment, nerfed RA or or cooldown tweaks or removing the flame nade (or alternatively, it could be used on garrisons and buildings only) Also removing the sprint was not necessary, now that the HMG has an increased setup time. Most of the other stuff were done expertly. Instead of completely immobilizing a vehicle, the ability now simply prevents the vehicle from automatically rotating to face enemy units and will now only do so if explicitly given attack command. At the same time, if the ability is on, the vehicle will stop automatically rotating once the movement is complete. Gotta love the level of attention to details here. GJ. In: Lobby

Across the board light vehicles were overperforming. Not quite right. Some light tanks just need a bit more time to wipe inf now. The AEC received massive buffs, and it can out-cheese the Stuart's stun shot by its new thread-breaking shot. The T70 is a lot more durable now. The Stuart has better penetration, and can vet faster. Not to mention the fact that the new PIAT is a super Bazooka-Shreck hybird. Allied Light Tanks will be still powerful, and people will be building them as often as they used to. The 222, on the other hand, has literally no purpose anymore, as by the time it arrives the allied "Scout/Clown Cars" have done the their damage. In: COH2 Gameplay
