P4 ---> 110 fuel done and done

If you make p4 cheaper you would have to make T3 more expensive. And that is not going to end well for ostheer, especially considering p4 is not the obvious choice. Also when you think of the fact that you usually don't build more than one and never more than 2, I would rather consider lowering building price and increasing p4 fuel price as a needed ostheer versatility buff.

katitof's analysis is a bit misleading cause he doesn't take moving accuracy into account. Most tank fights are fights of movement.

Relic really shafted EFA factions in this regard though, so both t34 and p4 ought to have same moving accuracy OR shermans/cromwell need to be toned down.

EDIT: I fully support his use of stats though. More people ought to use numbers.

Ok seems like you want an explanation and you get it:
P4 has less pen while more armor than Cromwell so you might say that they are almost similar but
Cromwell get 0.75 accuracy on the move and is the fastest vehicle with the best rotation speed that can crush and easily flank any tank
P4 get 0.5 accuracy on the move and is slow so can't crush (or at least it can be Done only if the inf is pinned)
Now 125 vs 110 fuel if you did not play the game to who would you give their value ?
Now all I ask for is a 110 fuel p4 is it too much ?

Ost P4 is a piece of crap.

Used it, believed in it yet it failed me.

Also 3-4 P4s cannot take on an IS-2, even from the rear coz balance

P4 is great when it hits the field, it offers a mobile unit that can handle anything (at that point). The problem is its not spammable. If you cant get to t4 and a panther or blob counter, spamming stugs and p4s isn't enough. Yet maintaining map control when your opponent has more tanks out is very hard, so you're often forced to stick with t3 because you can't save that extra fuel

Didn't they nerf the size (at least it was on the preview)?

+1 :thumb:

Yes, but back then it was the same as 222, right now it is more to mediums but I still think it is lower than p4 have.

But still speed makes a big difference in tank fight, not to say he have bigger vision and so he have first shot and that means he also get last shot sooner

All stock meds have target size of 22, except for sherman, which is 23.

The t-34/76 mg buff affects the t-34/85 too?

Yup; they both (still) use the same hull & coaxial MGs.

Before you ask, these seem the only 2 vehicles affected by the MG buff (other soviet vehicles use different weapons).

Soviet t34 and usf sherman struggle against ost panzer 4, soviet t34-85 struggles against okw panzer 4 because oftenly bounces.

Vet II PzIV beats every medium tank Allies can produce. Vet III increases the gap even more.
Brand new outclasses Sherman and T-34/76. Not so sure about T-34/85 but I'd say these are about the same.

No idea about Cromwell, but I won't hesitate to engage one with PzIV

Penetration is worst problem, main reason tank has no scalability.
Its too costly for what it does when it comes out compared to other mediums which are much cheaper.

But even with all the vet its still just a shitty 110 pen gun with bad accuracy and 40 range..you arent going to get much of anywhere with that against enemy tank destroyers and heavies...no chance.

Dayumn, the denial and detachment from reality are real.

And did you just went full retard by saying that medium tank losing to tank destroyers and heavy tanks is a bad thing?

Kati your numbers in a vacuum of 2 tanks sitting right in front of each other not moving is a poor argument. This never happens, pretty much ever so please stop pointing to it like it is the answer let alone an answer because it is clearly the answer for someone who doesn't actually play the game.

Because you have no clue how to successfully use PzIV against T-34/85 doesn't mean the unit is bad.
