That should solve the 60td problem. Adjust for spotting scopes bonus accordingly so it won't exceed current levels.

I think giving axis tanks 40 sight would make them overperform vs allied mediums, since with 40 sight they would always get the first strike and just win a frontal engagement a lot easier.

People complain the Soviets are useless.
Well, they are useless if you fight your units 1vs1. But they are all about Synergy.
What do I care if you have a Panther? Once you are crippled from running over a mine

This change would effect way more than the matchup between axis tanks and allied TDs. That extra vision is helpful against just about anything

I don't think we should meddle with core game mechanics such as spotting for your armor. Not without trade offs at least.

And I don't think they should. British Tank Commanders should have been doctrinal abilities with some extras, not non-doctrinal no-brainer stat increasers.

only crom, comet and FF have access to commander upgrade (three tanks, and ones role is a sniper). Churchill, centaur, AVRE, Croc do not have 45. Actually the AEC has less LoS than puma

False both AEC and Puma have a sight of 50.
