Thread: Uploading for match chat, that was.. something11 Jan 2018, 10:38 AM Yeah. I don't know. Gameplay is nothing spectacular, in fact, I'm terrible but this poor fella proceeded to have a mental breakdown. Hope he feels better. In: Replays
Thread: Stellaris23 May 2016, 18:43 PM Jump back to quoted post23 May 2016, 14:23 PMWinterfeld stuff If you don't think $220 worth of DLC is over the top then I don't know what to say. In: Other Games
Thread: Stellaris23 May 2016, 13:23 PM Game is in dire need of a tonne of UI improvements and quality of life features. I can't recommend anyone to get this game until theres a couple of patches or the first expansion comes out. You'll have a much better first impression I promise you that. It has a lot of potential though, shame paradox are really milking DLC now though =/. Just look at EU4. In: Other Games
Thread: Rogers "Veteran caster" about gaming industry. The truth!21 May 2016, 13:06 PM FPS genre isn't in a bad spot, Doom just came out with one of the best campaigns ever made. Overwatch is about to come out with some fresh multiplayer gameplay. Although it was posted on april 20th I guess. Don't have time to listen to an hour podcast, but the usual talk about today's dlc and pre-order practices being the cancer of the industry, judging by the cliff notes? Nothing new, most non main-stream gamers agree. But the majority don't care In: Lobby
Thread: Is grid hotkeys good?11 May 2016, 06:06 AM Jump back to quoted post11 May 2016, 01:24 AMd0ggY I use my keyboard driver. But this is a general issue that game has and why people lose the thrill to play it. Every game should have the possibility to customize your Keys I wouldn't go that far as to how bad it is, its just another niggling issue to add to the "death by a thousand cuts" list. In: New Members
Thread: Battlefield 1 (WWI)7 May 2016, 16:12 PM this looks like a good game to play as ww1 mans shooting other ww1 mans. In: Other Games
Thread: Sorry for this...31 Jul 2015, 08:22 AM I hope its similar to CoH1 british music. They had the best themes imo. Really fit the faction too. I remember for a while I was only playing them just to listen to the music In: Lobby
Thread: Faceplate's that indicate ELO/Rank?9 Jul 2015, 04:17 AM While this is nothing new and has been repeatedly asked for since release, its worth bringing up again that SOME visible ranking system in game has to exist. I don't care if its a symbol or number, its just the biggest oversight that has somehow taken 2+ years to implement. Also, any feature that indicates someone's skill/rank should only be shown after the match imo, during the results screen or Victory/Loss screen. This is especially apparent in team games, the last thing you want is someone on either team dropping because they're intimidated or are immediately discouraged because the other team is higher ranked. Even if the odds are seemingly against you, as everyone knows CoH games have the potential for massive come backs. Quoting myself from a post in 2014 People may think it trivial but adding in game leagues/rank insignia to distinguish yourself from others is one of the biggest motivators for people to keep on playing. CoH1 had the 1-20 rank system, SC2/LoL/CSGO also have their own leagues/ranks that are a huge factor in driving people to play more and more. All CoH2 has is an out of game leader board with a number that signifies how supposedly good you are, which frankly isn't a fun feature to show how much you have improved or how good you are. Relic need to give players a reason to keep on playing and to keep on improving (which will in turn bring in more "good" players), I think a proper rank system is a major factor. In: Lobby
Thread: Star Wars Battlefront Alpha Application28 Jun 2015, 19:27 PM I've listened to a lot of youtubers and most of them all pretty much agree the ground combat is good, but vehicles and flying is totally lackluster. I'm still kind of keen to play it, at least for the co-op. Jump back to quoted post28 Jun 2015, 18:49 PMBasilone You can always identify people that never played on console from posts like this. Implying that's a bad thing lol In: Other Games
Thread: Team games now5 Apr 2015, 13:09 PM Jump back to quoted post5 Apr 2015, 12:50 PMspajn They can nerf axis forever, it will always be more people wanting to play axis. Tiger or Sherman? M1 Garand or MP44? Easy choices. Nobody wants to play as bolsheviks. I love DP-28's, not necessarily for how they perform but how they look and sound. But they can only be obtained from 2 (3?) units from the soviet army and they're all locked behind separate doctrines. In: COH2 Gameplay
