Even in CQB though, since the game is an abstraction, I think it's reasonable to assume that cover generally had some utility. Garrison cover is entirely different can of worms. Bonuses from it are lesser then from green cover, but lower distance doesn't negate them. In: COH2 Gameplay

It seems like it should be reduced but not 100% zeroed Because there is a certain distance, where it doesn't matter that you sit in that dirt hole or bush.
