Before you get P4 you can put up an additional tier giving you even better unit variety.
The convenience soviets can't afford.
Couple that with inferiority of all soviet armor except SU-85 and you have pretty simple conclusions why soviets still stall to call-ins.
Also, CP costs were tweaked first, 2 patches ago. PQ himself said it they went with CP increase before tier cost increase.
With current soviet armor state all call-ins could be set to 15CP and soviets would still stall for them, there is no reason to pay such a huge tax for vastly inferior and inflexible unit choice, its much better to wait for the armor that actually matters. |

RNG's God's is too OP, always work...
For me the most boss is the shock's, only 1 squad rip 3 grens squads...
They run with no cover, no problem...

No, the (soviet because this is what this thread is about) default units are not worth it AT ALL. 255 fuel for SU-85 and 370 for 2? Or similar costs for even more inferior tanks? No, thanks, I'd rather have 3 T34/85 ot IS-2+KV-8. |
Maxim damage and accuracy increased slightly, and suppression reduced. Less of a suppression tool than a "oh, you're in my arc of fire, you die naow!" weapon. E.g., the .30 cal from vCoH.

I'm surprised to see so many votes on conscript support tactics being bad. I mean, sure, in this patch it's bad because conscripts are bad at the moment. But before that it was an amazing doctrine.
Conscripts are bad, therefore doctrine supporting the spam of them is bad.
Soviet industry also was amazing doctrine before, well, not anymore.

best part is katitof saying he is rank 200 with germans like it means something... i have been rank 100 when i didnt even try, the matchmaker just gave me easy opponents i didnt have to win more than 10 games. Rank 100 doesnt mean shit in coh2 and rank 200 is laughable to be used as a argument in any shape or form.
I have seen one upgraded guard squad in cover wipe 2 charging gren squads in seconds... i guess i should run to the forum and cry now then?
