This is what I remember from Alpha. They made them vulnerable to flamers and grenades. Maybe they've reverted them.
They didn't and brace was used.
Once brace is down, its flamer/nade/mortar fodder.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Bofors is nothing like OKW flak, unless you're comparing it to flak truck HQ. In: COH2 Balance |

Ah, and you can´t place mortar emplacements behind shot blockers? And you're going to place bofors and 17 pounders there as well and shoot at what exactly then? Mortar isn't the only emplacement brits have. In: COH2 Balance |

No. OKW tech structures are just that, TECH structures. They are not part of your army, they are not supposed to be on the front line and as opposed to emplacements, you lose nothing by building them in your base. Emplacement is a UNIT for brits, it costs popcap and upkeep, it can vet, there needs to be a way to preserve it with stuff like walking stuka or sturmtiger on field. Brace is supposed to protect you from short assaults or quick nukes and it does exactly that, you can't retreat emplacement and inb4 PaK43 argument, you can protect it by placing it behind shot blockers. I really dont understand people who say that you will NEVER see a ST shoot, that it is like the sneaky ninja always coming out of the shadows. That is really stupid argument in the defense of ST. You can also identify where mortars, artillery and super heavies are and be aware of them, doesn't prevent you from getting hit by them. It doesn't matter if you know where the unit MIGHT BE if you can't tell if its going to shoot at you. In: COH2 Balance |

Well, apparently now they do, which would be a buff from alpha state. They have less armor though. In: COH2 Balance |

I dont see in the video an indicator that tells your ennemy when your churchill is gonna fire ( ST gun is going up ) , is there one ? AVRE gun is going up much the same way ST does. And obviously, AVRE stops. In: COH2 Balance |

I.... don't .... even.... Do you have advanced dissociative identity disorder Alex?
Your changes still mean 100% ST shots can wipe infantry and team weapons, because its impossible to react to what you can't see and AVRE can be avoided by not falling asleep against brits. Anyone believing truly that AVRE needs nerfs with its 35 range while ST is fine with 45 and shooting out of LOS is completely beyond salvation. In: COH2 Balance |

Its fine as long as you always have more then 50% chance to pen. While AT guns are still useful against heavies, take into account tremendous cost difference between them. For countering heavies, bigger guns of TDs should be requirement or amassed ATGs, single one should always struggle. In: COH2 Balance |

All that is fucking stupid is the 1600 health. Literally the only way to lose these units, is to go afk for a few minutes to replenish your stocks of paint chips to snack on. Like what in the fuck? Well, truth be told, these units are as fast as infantry, while they have nice hp buffer, without it escape would be impossible. AVRE doesn't need as big hp poll though, but both croc and normal one are meant to be there up front, taking hits so I wouldn't be too hasty with screaming nerf on them, especially MK VII. And are you people really that stupid? You will ALWAYS SEE AVRE before it shoots, you will NEVER SEE well played ST-the most important difference is RANGE. Range difference guarantees that ST will always hit and wipe while AVRE shots will miss unless you're literally a snail with your micro. In: COH2 Balance |
