We've come full circle. Years of hate on indirect and now the bandwagon is hating something that punishes indirect.
The cause is still indirect you know...
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Thread: Hacked Steam Account25 Mar 2021, 20:48 PM
Its amazing how many people still fall for something like that. But it explains all the random friend invites recently. Couple of weeks ago I've met some old champ on steam whose friend fell victim to it and he was asking for help on his behalf despite not having any other contact with him. Poor sob was old enough to have most of his friends on the other side. In: Lobby |
Thread: Mainline Infantry25 Mar 2021, 12:59 PM
I have a big question about mainline infantry. Please explain to me, without being sarcastic, and without being an Ally or Axis fanboy, and being absolutelly realistic, why: Arrives late game or with additional costs, weak supporting units, no focused long range damage. - 5men IS squads, with double Bren, are considered balanced. They are not, this is why they received so many nerfs to the point they had to be re-buffed. High manpower, fuel and muni costs to get to that point, high pop requierment, static, easily counterable forward reinforcement, high squad cost. - 5men RM squads, with BAR or 1919, are considered balanced. Delayed and limited access to support weapon units, lack of reliable forward reinforcement, high squad cost. - 5men Volks, with STG or MP40, are considered balanced. Very strong early game, peak at mid game, require elite infantry supplement to stay relevant in late game, limited or no forward reinforcement, unless you pick a doctrine, average vet. - Hypothetically 5men Gren squads are considered OP as hell and will break the entire game. Low initial cost, early mobile reinforcement, strongest support weapon units with no access limit what so ever, extra tier of AI and AT units to support them in late game, DPS highly focused on 1 model, there already is doctrine with 5 man grens and it was batshit insanely OP up until recently, so concept already tried and proven to be broken in context of army. You can just google some casts from the time they were made 0cp. You'll find plenty of top players using them with the command tiger doctrine. And now they are cheaper then during that time. You know how people don't spam penals anymore despite them not getting any nerfs in recent times after they clearly were meta until they were not? Exact same issue here. And tournament do NOT use what is balanced, they use what is strongest at the time. In case you haven't noticed, units used frequently in tournaments are usually overpowered. Osttruppen anyone? The mod team STATED that they are an alternative to volksgrenadier, and they utterly fail to be that alternative Perhaps you should ask Stormjeager on advise on how to use them, it seems like a-moving blob isn't working out for you in this instance. In: Lobby |
Thread: Should the SU85's vision ability be nerfed/removed25 Mar 2021, 12:19 PM
Guess what a T70(AEC would be a better comparison) can also flank and easily kill things like stugs and JP4's. Thats not really grounds for needing less combined arms. T-70 takes ages to kill 222 and you are trying to tell us it can "easily kill" stug that deflects 50% of T-70 shots of the rear armor? Yeah, AEC would be a better comparison, because T-70 is beyond horrible one. But sure, if tracking is such a problem, I'll gladly replace it with something like TWP, aimed shot, thread shot or ambush camo instead, because that would be balanced. In: COH2 Balance |

What if I told you that unit does not need to be top 1v1 tournament meta to be good and balanced? I mean, how many overpowered hotizers have you seen in 1v1? How many ISU or JTs? How many AGs? List goes on. In 2v2 PFs are very common sight. Nobody of the several people across the 3 differen OKW commander rework threads who mentioned how Panzerfussies are extremely underwhelming ever said anything like this. You made a wrong statement and backpedaled into an equally wrong strawman No, its the mod team who did. You know, when they made them 0CP unit. You are trying to fix what is clearly not broken. But sure, lets buff them, have them become meta and then nerf them into irrelevance for another year afterwards to complete the cycle. In: Lobby |

You literally have a player with OKW rank that we both can only dream of saying the contrary just a couple of posts above. I'll take the opinion of something working or not from someone who plays incomparably better then me than one of a random complainer. It's exactly what it was meant to be, the changelog says they are supposed to be a mainline altermative to Volks And they -are- mainline alternative to them. Just not without disadvantages or complete self reliance in very early game. In: Lobby |

Its stupid when combined with the vet ability. Allows you to see acrosd the map. The vet ability was nerfed years ago to prevent exactly that. Looks like you haven't used that combination in at least 2 years and with focused sight, its even less now if you try to stack. In: COH2 Balance |
