It's intentional, the PG model even has a unique ID: assault_grenadiers_leader_mp. He actually still has 1.5 armor because Relic forgot he existed when they changed armor to received accuracy. What annoys me more is not that he's there, but he's not even assigned Squad Leader, the Assault Grenadier in the middle is. In: Lobby

A bit misleading, since the number build includes T-34-85's made after the war, up until 1958. Further down the article, it gives the number built in WW2 at 22,559. It's incorrect to say the T-34-85 outnumbered the T-34 in 1943 and 1944. No T-34-85 were produced in 1943, and while 10,449 were produced in 1944, it still did not outnumber the existing T-34 already in service. However, T-34 were moved to more auxiliary roles like rear guarding or reconnaissance whenever T-34-85 were available for front-line combat roles. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Which infantry models would you change if you could?14 Jun 2016, 06:44 AM I think I would swap the Ostheer Artillery model and the Ostheer Grenadier model. And as someone else said, give them the rigging that Osttruppen have too. Then I'd change the colour on their shoulders from red (artillery) to white (infantry). I'd also make the color changes to Medics (royal blue) and Osttruppen (white). I would also swat Winter Osttruppen and Winter Grenadier and reskin accordingly, since civlian coats would fit Osttruppen much better. For USF, I would give Rear Echelon a different model, perhaps Rifleman or Vehicle Crew or even Soviet Engineer, but reskinned to look either like a different soldier, or like workers. Then I would let USF Riflemen use the coat model on winter maps. In: Lobby
Thread: Good rejected things in CoH 212 Jun 2016, 00:15 AM Oh here's another one I just remembered. USF's base has 4 racks, only 3 are usable. The 4th is actually called aef_weapon_rack_m1c_garand. This implies the Pathfinder's Marksman Rifle was once intended to be an optional squad upgrade like the BAR, Bazooka, and M1919. I kinda wish they kept it that way, but who knows how that would effect balance. Definitely would be more accurate to US Sniper Doctrine though. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Good rejected things in CoH 211 Jun 2016, 19:47 PM Obersoldaten used to be called "Honor Guard", the name change explains why they're never referred to in-name by the audio. Volksgrenadiers still refer to them as Honor Guards in their idle chatter. OKW had a StuG III, the commander voice still calls the Sturmtiger a "StuG Drei" by mistake on occasion. In: COH2 Gameplay
