I think this is mostly due to that health cut off for snipes. Iirc, JLI can crit on entities under 75% HP, gerands only under 40% HP. Edit: also, I think the range profile of the other squad members helps the JLI to more easily get long range crits, as I think the Kar98s are better at long range than the M1 Carbines of the pathfinders. So regular paths kinda get the bad end in both less utility and performance. I am not sure if target priority for the scoped garand is low health entities. If you have 2 scoped garands, the chances of targetting a low health entity increases. In: COH2 Balance

Nerfing "heavy TDs" accuracy might not "be enough" but it is step in the right direction. It's always been quite easy to double tap mediums with 2 AT guns, it's part of the reason why heavies are so popular. I think the balance team made a good choice in reducing the target size of mediums. In: COH2 Balance

I've had 4v4 games where at the 12 minute mark, I still had an army but 2 of my teammates had a combined army count of 5 units. Yet they didn't want to surrender, eventhough it was obvious that we were going to lose. I'd rather not be held hostage by these types of players so I don't agree with your proposition. Thread: Soviet T1 redesign/rebranding30 Mar 2020, 05:48 AM I think the sniper idea is bad. Snipers are very expensive and unsupported snipers already get forced off the field by a single enemy squad if the enemy commits to the chase. They simply don't have the rate of fire to successfully kite enemy squads on their own, and engaging an enemy squad with just a sniper is best done by only taking 1 shot and then fleeing back. There really is no need to give them reduced speed, as it will make countering snipers trivially easy. Making the scout car better late-game is a good idea (this goes pretty much for all light vehicles), but instead of a 5m healing aura, I would just make it a single med-kit drop, as a small healing aura is very clunky to use with spread-out 6 men squads.
