Intersting. I dont think that grenadiers should get combined arms, it could lead to grenadier death blobs, similar to the old sturm officer. Also, there is no munitions sink to use your minitions on lategame.
Well i coudn't think of any other ability for grens. Maybe more experienced member of the community can come up with something better and thematic. |
Stop nitpicking this detal. It is irrelivant. If you think they are fine just say "They are fine for their timing and cost", not "(x) has (y) but (z) doesn't, so its unfair"
Well, he was explaining to Katiof why factoring the cost of side tech to individual units the way he did it isn't really good. |

2cp: Mechanization Training(new ability): Allows pioneers to
do critical repairs similar to USF vehicle crews, and gives
grens and upgrade this upgrade gives grens combined arm
ability.
5cp: Motorized equipment(new ability): Gives all vehicle 2
upgrade mutually exclusive between spotting scopes and smoke
discharge also allows pioneers to build repai bunkers.
7cp: P4 command Tank
8cp: LeFH 18.

No. Allies have superior anti air. Neither the Flak HT/base, 222, Ostwind or the myriad of pintles mgs can not stop the p47's from doing their first pass. While ju87's will get shot down before they even have the chance to do so. |
The price should be just exchanged. If tank is standing still on plain ground both will bring down a full health Tiger/IS-2 with their last passing plane. But if the target is moving too fast, is behind cover or driving in hilly territory (wrecked by artillery), P-47 performs worse.
So just exchanging cost without touching performance should be fine.
For the P47's it depends how you move, if your moving in the direction of the strafe you tanks will die very fast. But you'll always take less damage from ju87's if you move regardless of direction. |
When the target is stationary they’re both fine. When moving the p47 is still worse. Also 240 vs 200.
There is also the fact that ju87's will track you to oblivion if it has to which the p47's won't. |
You still keep perpetuating this as if it was the only way to do and as if there were no arguments against it.
So I'll just keep pointing out that most Allied side techs are meant to delay the main tech, so the costs are also there to delay the main tech.
Yeah, in the current build of the game(and for a while) it doesn't really do that. It's only a gating mechanism. |

Cost of upgrade divided by amount of units that will likely benefit from it.
In USF case, 6 would be a good number.
I'll let you figure out on your own why that is not a good way of factoring the cost. |
