Thread: Winter patch Buglist 12 Apr 2020, 12:00 PM Because we balance units based on their own performance, not based on "but the other faction (that I don't play) has this or that". With the Thompsons upgrade they have an excellent weapon profile that's easily worth 7-8 popcap. Also, the 33 mp reinforcement cost is obviously a bug and it's supposed to be 28 like all other semi-elite assault infantry. In: COH2 Bugs

This was a 1v1 fight and the Pershing lost. That's right, a 230 Fuel 640 MP tank lost to a single Wehrmacht AT sqaud. Pershing wins 21/21 times against a vet 2 Panzerschreck Panzergrenadier squad at various ranges. Some were even in heavy cover. 19/21 times it won with more than 50% health left too. If your Pershing loses to PGrens, you either got incredibly bad RNG (unlikely) or it's a skill issue and not a balance issue. The Pershing even has 45 range vs the Panzerschreck's 35 range so it can theoretically even win without ever getting hit if you kite it well enough. In: COH2 Balance

That's not the point. Kubel detection doesn't allow your ATGs and TDs (or ISGs/mortars) to engage enemy units because it only spots them on the map. The Uhu's 80 sight range does. Which can be a huge advantage in matches that boil down to a fight over 1-2 victory points or other areas. There's a reason most high level games see T-70s or 222/251s with recon mode / spotting scopes being used. In: COH2 Balance
