Well obviously if you just remove units from a tech tier no one will bother with it anymore. It's like saying Soviet T3 would be dead without T70. Or saying OKW mechanized would be dead without Luchs or whatever. IMO USF doesn't need all these big changes. Some units are just slightly too good and need to be nerfed. As I said plenty of times. Non-doctrinally: Pak Howitzer, Scott, Jackson and doctrinally: WC51, Recon Support Pak Howi+LMG Para drop. I probably forgot some stuff but these are the worst offenders IMO. Then there are obviously also the special snowflake USF "features" that will never be touched like pop cap abuse and extra units but they will never touch those anyway. In: Lobby |

Basically, the raketen deserves a RoF nerf to be similar to the pak. Don't get technical with me about reload time and aim time bullshit. Just make the time it takes to fire a fucking shot the same as a pak. So the powerlevel of the rak is roughly the same. 10 less pen, 5 less range, no gun shield, but 5 man crew, retreat, and camo and the price is cheaper make it roughly the same powerlevel as the other at guns. Are you living in fantasy world? Raketenwerfer already has a slower reload than the Pak40. Plus the Raketenwerfer has longer fire aim time. So yeah, you are making shit up. I don't want to be offensive but why would you write such non-sense when you don't even know the stats and are just too lazy to look them up? In: COH2 Balance |

I was being sarcastic that's why I put /s at the end of my post. I guess you are talking about Nordwind here when you say "different snow and effects". Nordwind doesn't use any snow added with the elevation editor. The huge trade-off is that the map doesn't look half as good as real snow maps like Ladoga or Novgorod. It doesn't have the same atmosphere. I was happy they added a new winter map but the visuals of Nordwind have disappointed me. I only played the map twice so far so I don't want to comment on the overall design. My point is: It's not right that COH2 can't have snow maps just because some people insist on running the game with ancient hardware, often without dedicated GPU or decades-old CPUs. |
