If people complain about the live jackson they should see fireflys.
Yeah lol. Jacksons are a bit cheaper and faster though, and usf having good things seems to offend some people XD

Yeah but people bitch about live version jackson sometimes. IMO it's just bad original design to say, "here, you have 1 thing that can fight axis tanks effectively" and have to make it do everything in loads of different scenarios (which is why you get the fbp Jackson that'll probably never be implemented anyway). Well I think it means something because somebody who knows how to play will use 1919s. You bring up interesting points for sure. IMO (and I'm not trying to argue, just saying what I think of it), putting 1919s is weird because it gives up the negligible advantage of garands being semiauto (negligible because upgrade weapons do most of a squads dps anyway) and the role of riflemen being an aggressive flanker squad with its utilities and general stats. I also rarely put 1919s on paras (even though it's really really good) for pretty much the same reasons. I also always buy racks anyway because I don't like making at guns (or I go lt) and at my level it's usually not necessary anyway as zooks and maybe a AAHT or Stuart will do the same thing but for less mp. You also have a higher dps ceiling with double bars as the enemy closes (if they're inclined to do so, basically all of okw). In: COH2 Balance |

Glide shots. It's not that hard.
Panther had a better chance to pen against most targets and also had less chance to be penned by allied at. It also has a bit more range now (which is apparently super OP when Jackson has more range than tanks but ok when it's the panther). In: COH2 Balance |

The picture is Vietnam era if its to be trusted. Would not be surprised if game is WW1 -> Cold War, getting a pure WW2 AoE almost certainly not happening. That's what I thought too. In: Other Games |

Oh boy then you havent seen cons, volks with STGs wipe them like flies. The problem is that volks have stgs but also have k98ks so they have good accuracy at long range and also good short range firepower and the fact that their stgs are straight superior in every way to their k98s. Recipe for wipes, especially on poor cons. Penals are ridiculous at wiping too tho, even on the move. Not just me then. Is it a universal thing or just a Relic fuck you reward for British vet finally working? Tommies seem to be utterly useless without double Brens too. Another thing to consider is that I think (not 100% sure on this) tommies are squishier out of cover, more so than other inf. They also have .25 accuracy on the move lol. Double brens make tommies way better but they can still be decent with vickers support without brens (unless said vickers gets a bs flamenade to the face). It doesn't suppress fast enough to prevent veteran volks (especially with the -10% suppression bulletin) to not be able to crawl up to it sometimes, but with support retreats are usually forced on them anyway, and the vickers does a ton of damage for a t0 mg in exchange. Fausts have reallly long range. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Thanks for all of your replies! I *sometimes* make .30s if I have a ton of field presence and the enemy is blobbing pgrens or volks (or has an early med bunker), but as nosliw said, your mp is often better spent and they're good when you get em free with airborne drops. I personally almost never use crocs or the hellcat, the former because normal shermans can fight tanks and inf and the latter because I hate giving up the penetration power. People do actually use the hellcat though, as it has more armor/health and cloak, and is still very useful for flanking heavier tanks. Upgunning shermans I'll do very rarely against pioneer cheese opponents where bar rifles can easily handle whatever small inf presence they have and I really need to worry about lategame vetted axis tanks, especially if I get a Pershing because it gets increased pen from the same upgrade (but severe ai) reductions. I think I read that the rounds fired by upgunned have very negligible difference in ai firepower, but they take like a second longer to reload, which is the kicker. In: COH Central |

Yep. Holdfire is the only solution. Kinda dumb lol. Sometimes ost snipers will shoot clown cars or dodges and get rekt. |
