Thread: Move Conscripts 7th man from t4 to t3?16 Jun 2019, 06:46 AM I've said for some time that Soviet tiers should be chock full of REASONABLE side techs to keep cons up to snuff (so no 25 fuel 125mp for basics bull shit) and I think at t3 for (now) standard 15 fu and 80 mp on top of taking their weapon slot and costing munitions would be enough. The point stands. If x is an issue and has to get Removed why reintroduce x+ at a later date? The 5 minute T70 from industry was a disaster, but perhaps if it was to come at 4 minutes.... I guess the feedback is: we don't have frequent eniugh patches to break the game trying amped up versions of things already determined to not work because they are fundamentally flawed by design. If (when) we relearn that durable units carrying AT that is guaranteed to pen armour frontally on the snap is a bad design how long are we going to sit with it broken? JLI was a few months (the Soviet AT ARTY was patched very rapidly though) Its frustrating knowing it's a bad idea (knowing because we already dealt with it, just with less durable squad...) and knowing that it's going to smolder and choke out more of the dwindling player base. Non-concentrated DPS simply does not work well for 4 men squads. Some things can be done to their timing and role, but ultimately their non-concentrated DPS is always going to be a weak point when IR STG / LMG Obersoldaten do have it. Falls still are attractive due to the snare and camo regardless of obers imo. They are a different flavor, harder to use but higher skill cap as well. They are not bad infantry by any means, o ers are just easier... In: COH2 Balance

My favourite would be some faster repair option for ost or pio crit repairs - also could do the job. I'm inclined to disagree about fast repairs. I'm probably an hold out here but I remember a time when taking damage meant something. When retreating a tank with 1 hit of health meant that tank was out of commission for some time. When actions had meaning. When losing models left a squad weakened. When you as a commander had to decide if it was worth taking the damage knowing that the unit would be down for a bit. I would rather see all repairs normalized DOWNWARD to EFA levels so dealing damage means something again. Its horseshit grinding a unit down to the brink of death only to have it back in full operating order in 45 seconds. It devalues dealing damage and makes wipes too defining. It changes the game and not in a good way. In: COH2 Balance
