Grenadier and sniper require a building and that has a tech cost Lmg and Pg need BP 1 and that is another tech cost That tech is 80mp and 10fuel. A molotov unlock costs more. In: COH2 Balance

My point was that there was too much difference in performance between Pio MP40 and ST Mp40. I remember it was mentioned when ST got their Mp40 free upgrade and weapon profile change. But i think its worth to mention again- Gotta keep in mind though that pgrens are a unit in the stock roster. You make pio mp40s good and you run into the problem with cons/penals where there's overlap and one will simply always be more cost effective. Pios are not intended to be fighting on the front much past when their weapons are effective (although they can still get the jump on weapon crews if the chance arises) In: COH2 Balance

It is very confusing that stormtroopers have it aswell and shred infantry but pios spread their guns and cause little to no damage at all. I am not saying that pios should have ST Mp40, i am saying makes no sense to have such a big gap between the two weapon profiles there are like 90 variants of kar98s as well, or how about g43s? Nagants? M1 carbines? If there is a gun there's 10 basicly. If the versions of the gun give you trouble consider guns are only as good as the guy using it. This is why guards can get more out of a nagant than cons can and this is why 200mp pios don't get as much out of it as 280mp elite infantry. In: COH2 Balance

Any change to gren DPS will have to be matched with a MP increase. Otherwise you can just make 4 grens and win vs Soviets. The whole powercreep of double brens/double BARs for USF/Brits instead of accessible elite infantry has been a mistake. It would be a much better idea to make commandos and rangers stock options and making basic infantry only able to upgrade with 1 BAR or Bren. I'd previously put forth the idea that Tommie have upgrades take a slot so double arming comes at a trade off not an inevitably and for usf have rifles 2nd slot tied behind vet 3. Officers and elite infantry are unchanged. I think that would make elite infantry more worth while and even possibly let bars and brens get buffed a smidge so they aren't just taking the enemy vet off if you only have 1 In: COH2 Balance

But they will never nerf allied core units... (more like 5+ Fuel ) And straight up Buffs ... nooooo better like 2mp reinfore BS. While gameplaywise nothing changed rly... or we wouldnt discuss here. There is a huge difference between tweak level changes like they did and I'll thought out sledgehammer changes like LITERALLY DOUBLE THE DAMAGE OUTPUT. why even stop there? Why not give all members an lmg? I don't k ow why you are being so reserved with your modest suggestion of doubling the damage of a 240mps 60 mu upgrade. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Changes i feel grens need5 May 2020, 22:24 PM I absolutely agree the best way to fix 240mp infantry behind a 10 fuel and 80mp building should have the same damage per shot as infantry that came the same time as tanks and cost 440mp. I can see no other solution that would work as elegantly as 13 second obers with a snare. I don't know why relic never thought of this (probably because they have the big dum!) also I know that 280mp infantry, lacking a snare with a 40fuel side tech were changed explicitly because they were bursting down models in a volley but that doesn't mean that 240mp Faust slinging infantry shouldn't! While their damage per shot is higher yes i feel like they get always outgunned due to not be able to fire faster. I might as well be intended from the start, but i'd like to see how they would perform if their rate of fire was increased. It could be tied to in cover bonus or something. could tie it to having a weapon upgrade or perhaps a battle phase/tier building In: COH2 Balance
